The Los Angeles Rams are building a team that looks straight out of a video game. This offseason, they added reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett and two-time All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie to a roster that already features 2025 NFL MVP Matthew Stafford and superstar wide receivers Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.
Still, NFL analyst Bryan DeArdo believes the Rams have one more splash move left, linking Los Angeles to a Pro Bowler who has scored 48 total touchdowns in his career and would complete an already star-studded unit.
Bryan DeArdo Names Rams As Landing Spot for Deebo Samuel Sr.
In his latest article, DeArdo outlined the top remaining NFL free agents and projected landing spots for each. Notably, he linked Deebo Samuel Sr., arguably the best wide receiver still on the market, to none other than the Los Angeles Rams.
“Injuries have hindered Samuel throughout his career, which is why his next team should use him sparingly to increase his chances of staying healthy for the season. In that vein, the Rams make a lot of sense given what they already have at receiver,” DeArdo wrote.
“In Los Angeles, Samuel could complement Davante Adams and Puka Nacua while giving league MVP Matthew Stafford yet another weapon. It’s safe to say Sean McVay would have a field day designing plays for the versatile Samuel.”
As DeArdo mentioned, the Rams already have an elite pass-catching duo in place, with Nacua and Adams.

This past season, Nacua recorded 129 receptions for 1,715 receiving yards and 11 total touchdowns. According to PFSN’s WR Impact Metric, he posted a 96.3 impact score, ranking 1st among all wide receivers.
Meanwhile, Adams hauled in 60 passes for 789 yards and a league-high 14 receiving touchdowns, despite missing three contests. He earned a 79.0 grade per PFSN, finishing 17th among pass-catchers.
Although Nacua and Adams already dominate at all three levels of the field, it certainly wouldn’t hurt to add another proven veteran to the group, especially one who excels in a Swiss Army knife role and in the red zone.

In 2025, Samuel posted 72 catches for 727 yards and five receiving touchdowns. He also added 75 rushing yards and another score on the ground. If signed, Samuel would join Nacua and Adams to form one of the most dangerous wide receiver trios in NFL history.
Between this potential wide receiver trio, Stafford playing the best football of his career, and a revamped defense, the Rams should be must-watch TV next season as they look to compete for a Lombardi Trophy.
