Seahawks Fans React to Nick Emmanwori’s Shot at Aaron Donald

On Sunday, the Rams revealed that Donald was ending his two-year retirement to return to the team on a one-year, $20 million deal, with the potential to earn another $10 million in incentives.

The future Hall of Famer is now set to join Myles Garrett on a stacked Los Angeles defensive line, giving the Rams even more star power.

Emmanwori responded to the news on X with a simple message: “All that for us.” He added laughing and saluting emojis, making it clear that he was not intimidated by the Rams’ blockbuster move.

The post immediately caught fire among Seahawks fans, with many appreciating the sophomore safety’s confidence.

NFL analyst Jake Oliver Ellenbogen joked, “Crying already.”

One fan backed Emmanwori’s confidence, writing, “If Nick ain’t scared I’m not scared.” Another encouraged him to keep talking, saying, “Talk that talk.”

Some fans took the post as extra motivation for the Rams, with one joking, “AD and Myles Garrett surely won’t use this as motivation.”

Another fan suggested the Rams had gone all-in simply to challenge Seattle, writing, “Had to make a superteam just to beat yall. They scared for real.”

Jermycal even joked that Emmanwori had earned himself a long-term stay in Seattle, saying, “You need a lifetime Seahawks contract.”

One fan, however, warned Emmanwori to be careful with the trash talk, writing, “Damn 3!! Don’t give them nothing!! Any ounce of a mistake they gonna slam this screenshot.”

The exchange adds even more fuel to a rivalry that should already have plenty of emotion next season.

Seattle enters the 2026 campaign as the reigning Super Bowl champion after defeating the New England Patriots in February. The Rams, meanwhile, have responded by adding Donald to a defensive front that already includes Garrett.

That sets up an intriguing battle between Seattle’s offense and one of the NFL’s most talented defensive lines.

The Seahawks and Rams will meet for the first time in Week 16 on Christmas night. By then, fans will find out whether Emmanwori’s confidence was justified or whether the Rams will have the last word.
