    What Happened to Roschon Johnson?

CBS reporter Tracy Wolfson reported late in the second quarter that Johnson had gone to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion.

It’s not clear when the injury occurred. Johnson had not seen much of the field yet on Thursday, as the Lions controlled the first half, with the Bears failing to pick up a first down on their first four drives.

Johnson had no carries or targets at the time of his injury. However, he has, at times this season, played a notable role in pass protection and as Chicago’s goal-line back.

Fantasy Impact If Johnson is Out

Johnson has very much been a touchdown-dependent fantasy option this season. He hasn’t had more than 33 rushing yards in a single game and has only topped 35 yards from scrimmage once since Week 3.

Johnson is averaging just 4.8 rushing attempts and 1.5 targets per game this season. However, he has scored six touchdowns in 10 games, so his goal-line role is valuable.

It may well just be that D’Andre Swift sees a boost in value if Johnson misses time, especially now Khalil Herbert is in Cincinnati.
