Earlier this year, in June, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love married his longtime girlfriend, Ronnika Stone, a professional volleyball player. Active on social media and recently married, Stone and Love are easily among the most popular NFL couples today.
Of course, fans are just as interested in the couple’s off-field content as they are in their on-field achievements.
Jordan Love’s Wife Ronika Stone and Family Enjoy Wholesome Moment With Cowboys Legend
In a recent Instagram story, Ronika Stone shared a photo of herself and her family hanging out with Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irvin.
Of course, Stone’s NFL connection runs deeper than being married to Love.
Raised in California, Stone is the daughter of retired NFL player and former Dallas Cowboys guard Ron Stone. And while Stone’s father went on to play with other teams like the New York Giants, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Oakland Raiders, Stone played with Irving during his three years in Dallas.

Sharing a post added by one of her family members, Stone wrote:
“Fam w/ pops old teammate…(he was extremely bad luck during his visit).”
The photo was taken during the family’s attendance at the Cowboys-Packers Week 4 game. Held at AT&T Stadium in Texas, the game ended in a 40-40 OT tie. While Stone’s meaning is unclear, she could be blaming Irvin for the end score.
The family, of course, was present to cheer on Love and the Packers. Irvin, who played his entire career with the Cowboys, was the lone person in the photo donning Cowboys gear.
Stone’s father retired from the NFL in 2006 and has two Super Bowl wins (1993 and 1995). The entire family has always been close to sports; Stone herself took up professional volleyball. Her sister Ronna was a track and field athlete in Oregon, while her brother was a linebacker for the Washington State Cougars.
Stone is Proud of Her NFL Legacy
That being said, apart from her obvious connection to the Packers and Love, Stone has remained loyal to her father’s NFL legacy. In fact, she has never failed to boast of the similarities between her and Ron Stone.
In an old post in April, Stone shared photos comparing her volleyball stance to Ron Stone on the field. Proud, Stone wrote:
“Hands look like I’m on the o-line,” she captioned one Instagram Story.
“Me and the pops with the same swag fr,” she added in another.
With the 2025 NFL season already at Week 5, one can certainly expect more such content from Stone and Love.
