Las Vegas Raiders star Brock Bowers made an appearance on “Up & Adams” recently and admitted to being starstruck by Tom Brady. Brady became a minority owner of the Raiders in 2024 and has taken a hands-on approach with the team.
When asked if he’d met Brady, Bowers had a comical response.

Brock Bowers Relives the First Time He Met Tom Brady
After torching NFL defenses throughout the 2024 regular season, Bowers sat down with host Kay Adams to discuss a variety of topics. When Adams asked him if he’d met the team’s minority owner, Tom Brady, Bowers gave an enthusiastic answer.
“Yeah, I have,” he said, before getting excited. “It’s like you’re talking to a movie star.”

If Bowers was impressed by Brady, the feeling was presumably mutual after Bowers led all rookies in receptions in 2024, including wide receivers. Bowers caught 112 of 153 targets for 1,194 yards and five touchdowns. The rookie also led all tight ends in receptions and receiving yards.
All of that was despite the team having a less-than-desirable quarterback situation. Gardner Minshew, Aidan O’Connell, and Desmond Ridder were all given opportunities to make the job their own, but all failed. But after the team sent a third-round pick to the Seattle Seahawks for Geno Smith, things could get even better for Bowers moving forward.
Bowers Trolls Teammate Maxx Crosby’s Golf Game
Adams also quizzed the tight end about his teammate Maxx Crosby. Crosby was recently awarded a three-year, $106.5 million deal as the team looked to keep him in Las Vegas. Crosby has registered 60.5 sacks, 146 quarterback hits, and 107 tackles for loss since being taken in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Now one of the league’s most feared defensive players, the four-time Pro Bowler has become the face of the franchise in Las Vegas. Bowers might have something to say about that, though, if he can build on his incredible rookie season.

When it comes to golf, however, Bowers already has plenty to say. When Adams asked him what kind of golfer Crosby would be, Bowers put the boot into his teammate.
“I don’t wanna comment on him, but I can’t see him being the best golfer out here.”

That led to an amusing exchange between Adams and her guest after she asked if he was scared of Crosby. And while Bowers eventually said no, there was some noticeable hesitation.
The Raiders didn’t pay Crosby all that money because of his putting game, though. And as long as he continues terrorizing NFL quarterbacks, it will be money well spent. With a new general manager, head coach, and quarterback in the building, the Raiders will for both playmakers to be cornerstones of the new era in Las Vegas.
