Tonight on Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football is a Week 10 Matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Denver Broncos. The Raiders come into this game with a record of 2-6, with the only bright spots on their team being Ashton Jeanty, Brock Bowers, and Maxx Crosby. The Broncos, led by sophomore quarterback Bo Nix, enter this game with a 7-2 record, aiming to maintain their lead for first place in the AFC West.
Instead of highlighting plays and momentum swings, football fans have so far been met with a boring matchup with little to no offense. The low-scoring game has prompted fans to express their displeasure with the matchup, with most questioning why this game was even scheduled for primetime.

This tweet pretty much sums up the entire mood of online fans, with some variation here and there.
Another fan says, “Just another horrible / boring primetime NFL game… there really should only be like 1 of 10 teams that MUST be playing during primetime…”

The user is right; NFL scheduling continues to put struggling teams in standalone game windows. I would imagine that Amazon is not happy with the game, as the lack of excitement is likely causing viewers to switch to something else.
“This has to be the worst NFL game I’ve ever seen,” says this dramatic fan.
While the statement is dramatic, it’s also understandable. Thursday Night Football is a little sample platter for the Sunday slate, yet this game is leaving fans with a sour taste in their mouth.
“Boring TNF game already.”
It definitely didn’t take this fan long to write off this game. With “Already” implying it was the first or second quarter of football, it’s a tough sign for the broadcast.
“This game boring. Let me get ready for bed,” says this tired commenter.

Millions of fans are watching this game on a work night. I wonder how many feel the same way?
This user jokes that the “Broncos offense is sound asleep rn.”
Who’d fall asleep first, the Broncos’ offense, or @_Simply_Jass_?
This user contemplates what the outcome of the game would be if the teams only played one half of the game.
“If this game was ending at half time, it would have been decided by the punters. Raiders good, Broncos god-awful,” the user said.

The Raiders are the underdogs in this game, so the fact that they have kept it close could be beneficial for their odds of winning.
Hopefully, the second half of the game could be more memorable than the first half after they come back from halftime.
