Chloe Holladay’s Favorite Titans Snag A Win Against New England Patriots

The Tennessee Titans clinched a much-needed win against the New England Patriots, edging them out 20-17 in an overtime thriller. It was indeed a relief for them as it brought some hope back with their second win in the season.

Quarterback Mason Rudolph stepped up for an injured Will Levis, shining during a 13-play, 72-yard drive in overtime that set up Nick Folk’s 25-yard field goal to give the Titans a three-point lead. When the Patriots got the ball back, Amani Hooker intercepted New England’s Drake Maye, sealing the game and igniting celebrations in Nissan Stadium.

From the get-go, the Titans took control with Rudolph’s opening drive ending in a nine-yard touchdown to tight end Nick Vannett. Though the Patriots clawed back, tying the game at 17-17 with a last-second touchdown from Maye to Rhamondre Stevenson, the Titans managed to outgain the Patriots, recording 400 yards to New England’s 295.

Defensively, the Titans brought pressure, sacking Maye four times and forcing three turnovers. They held their ground, particularly in the fourth quarter, with Arden Key forcing a critical fumble that Jeffery Simmons recovered, leading to a go-ahead score by Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. His comeback finally snapped a three-game skid and gave the team its second win.
