NFL Analyst Reveals Lofty Player Comparison for Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan Ahead of 2025 Draft

Tetairoa McMillan is gaining traction as one of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft — and for good reason. Not only does he boast a strong 6’4″, 219-pound frame, but he also runs crisp routes for a player his size. He has big hands, solid ball skills, and a strong catch radius that pairs well with his physical style of play.

All those traits make McMillan a strong candidate to go in the top 10. The former Arizona standout is viewed as a high-ceiling receiver with real potential to make the leap to the NFL — so much so that his skill set has drawn comparisons to a future Hall of Famer.

Future Hall of Famer Is an Easy NFL Comparison for Tetairoa McMillan

The buzz around McMillan’s NFL future is building, with plenty of speculation about just how good he could be. Fox Sports analyst Jordan Schultz wrote, “‘T-Mac’ is an easy comp to future Hall of Famer Mike Evans.”

“There’s little doubt that McMillan is going to be a good NFL receiver. The question is whether he can become a great one,” Schultz writes. NFL teams are also sold on his “elite skills.”

“One executive from a 2024 playoff team sees why: ‘He’s got true star-level tools and elite production. Our entire building loves him. There’s just no way he makes it to us.’” According to Schultz, McMillan is viewed as a first-round lock who could go as high as the top 10.

McMillan was highly productive the past two years at Arizona, checking every box with his catch radius and ability to win outside. He shows strong focus and body control, with clean footwork along the sideline.

How Well Tetairoa McMillan Would Fit in With the Broncos

The Denver Broncos could be a strong fit for McMillan, given his ability to win at all levels and create mismatches. His skill set would align well with the team’s aggressive coaching approach and rookie quarterback Bo Nix.

McMillan would also join a wide receiver room led by Courtland Sutton, which could help elevate the entire unit’s production. Sutton hauled in 81 catches for 1,081 yards and eight touchdowns in 2024.

Add McMillan’s 3,423 career receiving yards into the mix, and the Broncos might have the right formula to break past the playoff barrier and chase a Super Bowl. Since McMillan’s draft stock isn’t locked in yet, Denver may need to trade up if they want to secure him.
