Peyton and Eli Manning are considered two of the best quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL. They retired just a few years apart – Peyton in 2016 and Eli in 2020 and wasted little time getting involved in new projects, including ManningCast.
“Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli,” also known as the ManningCast, has garnered a tremendous following in its five years on the air. However, it doesn’t air every week. Will there be an episode for Week 6?
Will Peyton and Eli Air an Episode of ManningCast for Week 6?
ManningCast is simply an alternate version of the live broadcast of “Monday Night Football.” It is hosted by Peyton and Eli and is produced by Peyton’s production company, Omaha Productions. It airs on ESPN2 and ESPN+ in the United States and TSN+ in Canada.
During the game, the brothers offer fans an alternative commentary that includes their insights and opinions. They generally have a special guest join them. In the past, those guests have included Bill Murray, Randy Moss, Tom Brady, Livvy Dunne, Bill Cowher, Adam Sandler, and Michael Phelps, among other famous names.
Unfortunately, there is no episode of ManningCast scheduled for Week 6, which will feature another doubleheader of games.
The first game will feature the Buffalo Bills and the Atlanta Falcons. It will air at 7:15 p.m. EST and will air on ESPN.
The second game will be played by the Chicago Bears, who will travel to the Nation’s Capital to face the Washington Commanders at 8:15 p.m. EST and will air on ABC.
While the Mannings have simultaneously covered two Monday night games in the past, this season, they seem to have structured their schedule to avoid the doubleheader nights.
The Mannings are scheduled to air ManningCast 12 times during the 2025 season. Their next show will be Week 8 and will feature the Commanders at the Kansas City Chiefs. They will air a show a week straight through Week 13. They will then take Week 14 off and return for Week 15 to cover the Miami Dolphins at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Fans of the show like the fact that the casual atmosphere feels like watching with your best friends. The two are well known and loved for their brotherly banter and jokes. Some say they prefer the more relaxed feel of the show, rather than the more serious traditional network broadcast.
Peyton and Eli also manage to work in pop culture and jokes that give viewers a unique behind-the-scenes perspective, attracting fans who may not enjoy the traditional commentators.
