The Patriots will honor the greatest player in franchise history on Friday, August 8, at 6:00 p.m. EST just before the team’s preseason matchup against the Washington Commanders, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

Brady is the first Patriots player to have a statue made in his honor. The organization’s chairman and CEO, Robert Kraft, will unveil it, and fans are invited to attend the ceremony. Doors open to the parking lot at 3:00 p.m. and open to the stadium at 5:00 p.m.

The statue will be located in Patriots Plaza, right outside Gillette Stadium. It’s an incredible honor, and a great deal of thought and detail went into creating this legendary tribute to Tom Brady.

How Much Did the Brady Statue Cost?

The statue reportedly cost the Patriots and Robert Kraft over $7 million, with a price tag of $7.3 million. While that may seem steep for a statue, it reflects how much the organization values Brady’s impact and legacy with the franchise.

How Tall is the Brady Statue?

The statue is crafted from bronze and will permanently honor Brady outside Gillette Stadium. The Patriots went all out, designing the statue to be an imposing 3.6 meters tall, nearly 12 feet high, making it a truly larger-than-life tribute to one of the greatest players in NFL history.

Who made the Brady Statue?

While the name of the sculptor commissioned to create the statue hasn’t been revealed, Robert Kraft mentioned that the artist is from Boston. It’s fitting and special that a local, who likely grew up watching Brady, was chosen to craft this iconic tribute.

Brady’s Legacy

There’s no question that Brady has had the most significant impact among all athletes who have ever played for a Boston sports team. By delivering championships and putting the Patriots on the map, Brady helped build an NFL dynasty that will be remembered forever.

This statue stands as a lasting symbol of that impact, ensuring that Brady himself will be remembered forever outside the stadium.
