As the New England Patriots fans look toward Drake Maye for a Super Bowl ring, the second-year quarterback has already got one for himself. Maye married his middle school sweetheart, Ann Michael Hudson, in a romantic ceremony over the weekend, making up for a memorable first offseason for the Patriots’ franchise quarterback.

Drake Maye Ties Knot With Longtime Love Ann Michael Hudson
Maye and Hudson have been together since middle school, but they only made the relationship official in 2020. The couple attended the same schools through college and got engaged earlier this year. Now, they are partners for life.
The couple hosted their ceremony at the exclusive Grandfather Golf and Country Club in their native North Carolina, according to the Daily Mail, and looked in perfect sync with each other, all while failing to stop smiling at each other. Maye chose an all-black outfit for the occasion, while Hudson was dressed in all-white.
“What a night! Cheers to forever🥂I love you!” Maye captioned the post.

Maye and Hudson reportedly began dating at the young age of 12, while they were attending Bailey Middle School in North Carolina. While the former wound up transferring to nearby Myers Park High School after his freshman year, the couple decided to attend the University of North Carolina together, where Maye carved out a legacy as one of the most decorated quarterbacks in program history.
Maye, who was selected No. 3 overall by the Patriots in the 2024 NFL Draft, proposed shortly after the conclusion of his rookie season. The quarterback didn’t attend the introductory conference of new head coach Mike Vrabel, and while he received some criticism for it, it subsided after he revealed he had gotten engaged to Hudson during his Mexico vacation in January.
Maye is now set to enter his sophomore season with the Patriots after a promising rookie season, where he appeared in 13 games, making 12 starts, and throwing for 2,276 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He completed 66.6% of his pass attempts, adding 421 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 54 carries.
In addition to getting engaged and marrying his longtime love, the quarterback has spent the offseason learning a new system after Vrabel was named the head coach, bringing Josh McDaniels in for his third stint as the franchise’s offensive coordinator.
The Patriots have made several impactful moves through trades, free agency, and the NFL Draft to prepare the grounds for Maye’s sophomore leap as they look to bounce back from a rough season where they finished just 4-13.
