The Green Bay Packers need to do something.
After a spectacular coming-out party in 2023, they plateaued in 2024 — landing right back in the same position they were a year ago. Jordan Love showed flashes of stardom, and the defense improved, but something’s still missing. The team is competitive but not quite a contender. And with expectations growing, Green Bay needs a game-changer to push into true Super Bowl territory.
Typically a patient franchise, the Packers have remained conservative again this offseason. But as the 2025 NFL Draft approaches, there’s growing buzz that Love needs more weapons. And one analyst has an idea that could shake up the league.

Green Bay Packers Predicted to Pair Jordan Love With Tyreek Hill
In a bold proposal, Bleacher Report floated the idea of the Packers trading for Dolphins star wideout Tyreek Hill. The deal? Hill and a 2025 fifth-round pick would head to Green Bay in exchange for Romeo Doubs, a 2025 third-rounder, and a 2026 fourth-rounder.
With constant speculation swirling about Hill’s future, such a move would give Miami a clean exit from his hefty contract while creating significant cap flexibility. For the Packers, it would be the kind of splash they’ve rarely made — but perhaps now need.
“Usually conservative in their roster-building approach, the Packers must make a splashy move to compete with the teams in the NFC and open their Super Bowl window,” the article stated. “Remember, the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings swept them, and they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles last year.”
Green Bay’s offense wasn’t bad in 2024, ranking eighth in PFSN’s Offense+ metric. But in their playoff loss to Philadelphia, the flaws became obvious. The run game never got going, and the passing attack lacked a true No. 1 threat.
Jayden Reed led the team with 55 catches for 857 yards and six touchdowns — solid numbers but not game-breaking. Compare that to Hill, who played through a torn wrist ligament in 2024 and still managed 81 catches for 959 yards and six scores.
And that was Hill’s worst season of the 2020s. He posted 1,200- and 1,700-yard campaigns in the two years prior. The kind of explosiveness Hill brings would instantly shift defensive game plans and elevate every piece of Green Bay’s offense. It might also be the move that lets Love take that expected MVP leap.
“Last offseason, the Packers signed quarterback Jordan Love to a four-year, $220 million extension,” Bleacher Report noted. “The front office can aid his early development in a full-time starting role with a splashy move for a big-time playmaker.”
Whether or not Green Bay pulls the trigger, one thing is clear — the clock is ticking. The NFC is wide open, and the Packers are just one piece away. Hill might be that piece.
Yah that ain’t gonna happen apparently this person does not know Green Bay…
I’d rather trade Watson. But hill isn’t that guy they need it will bomb
My Pack be trippin sometimes……Doubs is due to break out…….they should only let him go if HE wants out….but acquiring hill is a waste……don’t we still have a field stretcher?
