The NFL’s holiday slate begins with a classic divisional showdown, as the Green Bay Packers travel to Michigan to face the Detroit Lions in the 86th annual Thanksgiving Day Classic. With all three NFC North contenders — Detroit, Green Bay, and Chicago — locked in a tightly contested race, Thursday’s matchup carries implications for the division title. The game kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 27.
Radio Stations for Packers vs. Lions Game
Fans across the Midwest and beyond will have a variety of options to listen to Thursday’s broadcast. Each team operates an extensive radio network, and national coverage will also be available.
Packers Radio Network
Every Green Bay game airs on the Packers Radio Network, which has 54 stations across Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, and both Dakotas. Milwaukee’s 95.7 BIG FM (WRIT) serves as the flagship station, according to Packers.com.
The broadcast team will feature play-by-play announcer Wayne Larrivee; analyst Larry McCarren, a former Packers Pro Bowler; and sideline reporter John Kuhn, a three-time Packers Pro Bowler.
Larrivee and McCarren, who have worked together since 1999, are in their 27th season as a broadcast duo. Their long-running partnership has produced more than 300 regular-season and postseason calls together.
The Packers’ official radio broadcast will also stream on Packers.com for desktop users worldwide and through the Packers mobile app for listeners inside the team’s home market.
Lions Radio Network
Detroit’s radio coverage is anchored by WXYT-FM 97.1 The Ticket, the flagship of the Detroit Lions Radio Network, which includes more than 50 affiliates throughout Michigan and one in Ohio.
According to DetroitLions.com, the Lions’ broadcast team will feature play-by-play announcer Dan Miller and analysts Lomas Brown and T.J. Lang.
Due to NFL broadcast restrictions, Lions games are typically unavailable on local station web streams or mobile apps.
National Radio Broadcast
Westwood One will carry the game nationwide, offering a separate call for listeners across the country. The play-by-play announcer will be Jason Benetti, along with analyst Ryan Leaf and host Scott Graham for pregame and halftime coverage.
SiriusXM Satellite Radio
Fans with SiriusXM can tune in to dedicated team feeds, including the Lions broadcast on Channel 383 (or 226), the Packers broadcast on Channel 228 (or 225), and the national broadcast on Channel 88.
