The Detroit Lions will host the Green Bay Packers in the 86th annual Thanksgiving Day Classic at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 27, continuing one of the NFL’s most tradition-rich holiday matchups. The NFC North rivals last met in Week 1, when Green Bay won 27-13, and this rematch carries big playoff implications as both teams pursue the division title alongside the Chicago Bears.
The game will be nationally televised on Fox and streamed across multiple platforms, ensuring viewers across the country can tune in without worrying about regional broadcast restrictions.

A Look at Fox’s Broadcast Team for Packers vs. Lions
Fox will carry the Thanksgiving matchup with its full top broadcast crew on site at Ford Field in Detroit. Kevin Burkhardt returns to handle play-by-play duties, continuing his role as the No. 1 voice for the NFL on Fox. A veteran sportscaster who joined the network in 2013, Burkhardt became its lead NFL play-by-play announcer in 2022 and has since called big events, including Super Bowl LVII.
Joining him in the booth is Tom Brady, now in his second season as Fox’s lead NFL analyst. After retiring from his Hall of Fame-caliber playing career, Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with the network, making him the highest-paid sports broadcaster in history. He made his debut in September 2024 and now works weekly alongside Burkhardt as the face of Fox’s football broadcast team.
On the sidelines, Fox will have two of the most respected reporters in sports media: Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi. Andrews has worked as the network’s lead NFL sideline reporter since 2014 and brings extensive experience, having covered multiple Super Bowls, World Series, and conference championships. Rinaldi, known for his storytelling and years of work at ESPN, joined Fox in 2021 and pairs with Andrews to provide reports, injury updates, and interviews from the field.
