Who Are the Packers’ Highest-Paid Players? Green Bay’s Top-10 Biggest Salaries in 2025

Examining the Green Bay Packers' 10 most expensive players in 2025, from Jordan Love, to some 2024 standouts, to some newly acquired talent.

The Green Bay Packers are in a healthy position when it comes to 2025 cap space, but who are the 10 players set to take up the most cap room for the team next season?

In this article, we examine the most costly players that the Packers are set to carry into the 2025 season. Player contracts can be complicated, though, with many moving parts. With that in mind, we’ve used the players’ 2025 cap numbers, rather than weighing their guarantees against potential earnings.

The 10 Most Expensive Players on the Green Bay Packers’ 2025 Roster

Jordan Love (Cap Number: $29,687,143)

Eyebrows were raised when the Packers signed Jordan Love to a massive four-year extension in July 2024. Love’s deal is currently the 10th-highest in the league when it comes to average yearly guaranteed money. The quarterback has shown promise and ability in his two seasons as a starter, but the jury remains out on the player drafted to replace Aaron Rodgers.

Rashan Gary (Cap Number: $25,771,138)

Rashan Gary has become a leader and a cornerstone of the Packers’ defense since being taken in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. The edge rusher doesn’t keep opposing quarterbacks up at night like the league’s top edge players do, but he is a consistent difference-maker for the NFC North side.

Jaire Alexander (Cap Number: $24,636,355)

Injuries have become the talking point when it comes to Alexander. One of the best coverage players in the NFL, Alexander has only suited up for seven games in each of the last two seasons. Widely expected to be drafted this offseason, there has been little movement in that direction, with recent reports suggesting that he may remain in Green Bay in 2025.

Kenny Clark (Cap Number: $20,365,000)

A three-time Pro Bowler and a veteran presence in the Green Bay Packers’ locker room, Kenny Clark was surrounded by Mike Daniels, Julius Peppers, and Clay Matthews during his rookie season in 2016. It’s up to Clark to lead a new generation of exciting defensive playmakers in Jeff Hafley’s much-improved defense.

Xavier McKinney (Cap Number: $17,850,000)

Xavier McKinney was a rare significant free-agency signing made by the Packers in 2024. The player’s eight interceptions were good for the second-most in the league as he earned his first Pro Bowl selection. McKinney was also voted a first-team All-Pro for the first time in his career.

Elgton Jenkins (Cap Number: $17,600,000)

Another impressive note on the aforementioned Clark is that he is less than three months older than Elgton Jenkins, but has played three more years of NFL football. Jenkins was drafted in 2019, and while not having Clark’s nine years of experience, he has become a vital part of the Packers’ offensive line.

Josh Jacobs (Cap Number: $11,325,000)

Josh Jacobs, like McKinney, joined Green Bay in free agency ahead of the 2024 season and was a revelation. The former Las Vegas Raiders running back finished 2024 with the league’s sixth-most rushing yards and fourth-most rushing scores.

Aaron Banks (Cap Number: $9,032,343)

The Packers didn’t make as big a statement in free agency this year as they did with McKinney and Jacobs in 2024. Nevertheless, Aaron Banks is one of two new faces in Green Bay to appear on this list. Banks had been a consistent starter for the San Francisco 49ers over the last three seasons, and Green Bay will have plans for him in 2025.

Keisean Nixon (Cap Number: $6,841,666)

Keisean Nixon is high on this list for a player who made his name as a special-teams standout. Nixon led the NFL in kick return yards in 2022 and 2023, but took a big step forward at cornerback in 2024.

Nate Hobbs (Cap Number: $5,988,235)

Like Jacobs did in 2024, Nate Hobbs recently joined the Packers from the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency. Hobbs had been a consistent playmaker for the Raiders’ defense during his rookie contract, and at just 25 years old, could be a great addition for Green Bay.
