Nebraska Volleyball standout Campbell Flynn is out for the season. Here is what you need to know about her absence.

The Nebraska women’s volleyball team received a setback ahead of the all-important game against the Kansas Jayhawks. The Huskers were set to compete for a spot in the quarterfinals of the 2025 NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championships.

Hours before the game, setter Campbell Flynn received an injury on her finger. Although the details about the injury are yet to be revealed, this has forced the setter to sit out for the remainder of the season.

All About the Injury That Forced Campbell Flynn Out for the Remaining Season

The Instagram page of Hail Varsity reported that Flynn will miss the remaining season due to an injury to her finger. The setter was seen in the pre-match camp for The Big Red. However, she wasn’t included in the final draft for the game against Kansas Volleyball.

Meanwhile, the Huskers made it to the quarterfinals after overcoming the Jayhawks by 3-0. They will face the Texas A&M Aggies, who have qualified for their first quarterfinals after 24 years. The Aggies overcame some stiff resistance from the previous edition’s runner-up, i.e., the Louisville Cardinals, before eventually defeating them by 3-2.

Flynn’s Performance for the Nebraska Volleyball This Season

Before the unfortunate injury that pulled her out for the remaining season, Flynn was one of the outstanding performers for the Nebraska women’s team. This is her debut season for the Huskers.

Flynn made a total of 9 kills this season with a hitting percentage of 0.467. She also performed brilliantly in the defense, with a total of 31 digs at a strike rate of 1.107 digs per set. Flynn, alongside co-skipper Bergen Reilly, contributed heavily to Nebraska’s offensive defense strategy, which eventually delivered them their third consecutive title at the Big Ten Conference this year.
