Meet the gymnasts to watch as UCLA Gymnastics prepares for the 2026 season, featuring Jordan Chiles’ final year and key meets.

UCLA gymnastics, led by head coach Janelle McDonald, will open its 2026 season with the Best of the West Quad Meet, where the Bruins will face Washington, California, and Oregon State. With Jordan Chiles entering her senior year as the program’s standout gymnast, UCLA will look to take another step forward after finishing as the runner-up at the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championship 2025, falling to Oklahoma Sooners.

Freshman Tiana Sumanasekera is one of the gymnasts to watch this season, having already competed on the elite stage and won multiple gold medals at the Senior Pan American Championships 2023, including the all-around title.
