Simone Biles is on cloud nine, but for a different season. With an 11-4 record, the Chicago Bears have sealed the deal for the NFC North Championships and will now aim to make it to their first Super Bowl in more than two decades. After finishing the 2024 season with a dismal 5-12 record, first-year head coach Ben Johnson led the Bears to a playoff berth for the first time since 2020.

The official Instagram page of the Bears celebrated their accomplishment via a post on social media, with the caption: “Kings of the North 👑”

Biles shared the post on her Instagram story, writing,

“BEAR DOWN BABYYYY. Proud of you @jowens!!”

Biles’ husband, Jonathan James Owens, is a safety for the Bears. He signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2018 but spent the season on IR. After being waived by the Cardinals in 2019, Owens signed with the Houston Texans’ practice squad. He had a one-season stint with the Green Bay Packers in 2023, before joining the Chicago Bears for the 2024 season.

Meanwhile, Biles has been on a long break since August 2024. The 28-year-old gymnast had last participated in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she won four medals, including three Olympic gold medals, bringing her total to 11 medals, which makes her the most decorated American gymnast of all time.

Biles’ total of 11 Olympic medals also makes her the joint second most decorated gymnast of all time, alongside Czech gymnast, Vera Caslavska. Larisa Latynina, who represented the USSR from 1956 to 1964, is the most decorated women’s gymnast with a total of 18 Olympic medals.

Since 2024, Biles has divided her time between her dream mansion in Texas, occasional vacations, and cheering for her husband Owens at the NFL. She is also learning horse riding amid her break from Gymnastics.

Speaking to PEOPLE Magazine in November this year, Biles revealed, “Other than (Pilates), I really just do my horseback riding lessons. I had one yesterday at 5:30 PM. Usually I have it early in the morning, but since I had calls, we’re like, ‘Let’s do it the night before.'”
