Rebekah Allick Opens Up on What’s Next

Allick posted a video on Instagram, where she discussed her future course of action and why she had broken down after the quarterfinals. The middle blocker said:

“Hi, y’all. I just want to come on here and properly thank everybody for my time at Nebraska. I was obviously a wreck during the press conferences and couldn’t really get myself together, but I’m so grateful for all the support you guys have given me on and off the court, especially off the court with me just being vocal about my faith, what I believe in because I’m a child of God before I am a volleyball player, and I wanted a platform worth sacrificing while at Nebraska, and it means a lot that so many of y’all have rallied behind me.”

Allick’s teammates, Maisie Boesiger and Teraya Sigler, sent their best wishes for her future journey by supporting her move in the comments section of Allick’s Instagram reel.

Allick was inducted into the AVCA All-Region Team twice, in 2022 and 2023. She was also included in the Academic All-Big Ten team in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
