The Olympic gold medalist has often been in the headlines, either for his dominance on the track or his controversial remarks. One of the athletes with unapologetic confidence and the ability to deliver, Lyles has also faced significant backlash for his self-belief, often interpreted as overconfidence.

He shared that he welcomes feedback and constructive criticism from his close circle, whom he trusts blindly. He also called them his safe space and the key reason he has come to realize his actual value and worth. The 28-year-old emphasized that any outside noise has never bothered him.

Lyles was a force to be reckoned with at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he won the 100m event in the closest margin, leaving Kishane Thompson in second. He followed his first Games win with a victory at the 2025 World Championships.

He won his fourth consecutive 200m title there, matching the unique feat of Usain Bolt. Lyles also ran the anchor leg of the 4x100m relay, helping his team to the top finish.

The three-time Olympic medalist also set some fashion standards over the past two years. He collaborated with Adidas and Crunchyroll to feature in an anime-inspired clothing collection. He also graced the star-studded Met Gala in Thom Browne and turned heads with his pre-event walk-in wardrobes.
