The Big Reds were coming off a dominant win over Indiana when they took the mat against Oregon. They took the lead in the first half and continued to build momentum, ultimately recording a 50-46 win in the final minutes, thereby maintaining their undefeated streak. Throughout the match, Beason and Blackwell were among the supporters, cheering for the Huskers at the top of their voices.

“We’re here watching the best basketball team in the country. Go Big Red!”
In the comment section, the setter showed her support, and wrote: “Best team in the countryyyy”

The Huskers basketball team will next head to Illinois, ready to take on Northwestern on January 17. Reilly joined the Nebraska Volleyball program in 2023, becoming the first freshman to win Big Ten Setter of the Year since the award originated in 2012.
She also added AVCA Second-Team All-American, AVCA All-Region, and other notable honors to her resume. Recording 1,272 assists, 70 kills, 26 aces, 319 digs, and 63 blocks that season, she continued her momentum in her sophomore and junior years, too.
Reilly was an integral player on the Big Reds women’s volleyball team in the 2025 season. In head coach Dani Busboom Kelly’s first year, the Huskers maintained an undefeated streak in the regular season, posting 30-0 and 20-0 in the Big Ten Conference, thus earning the Big Ten title. She and her team reached the NCAA semifinals but lost to first-time champion Texas A&M.

Reilly achieved a historic feat by earning the Big Ten Player of the Year, the first setter to be honored since Minnesota’s Samantha Seliger-Swenson in 2018. She also earned the Big Ten Setter of the Year for the third time, becoming only the second player in history to reach that milestone. Her school-record-breaking .351 hitting percentage smashed the previous record of .331 from 37 years ago.
Her list of 2025 accolades also includes Academic All-America Team Member of the Year, AVCA Setter of the Year, and AVCA West Region Player of the Year honors.
