Nebraska Volleyball recently began the beach volleyball season on a promising note. Led by veteran players Harper Murray and Andi Jackson, the Huskers thumped Ottawa 5-0 at the Hawks Championship Center on Monday.
The Huskers were last seen in action at the NCAA Championships, where they reached the quarterfinals, losing to the Texas A&M Aggies, who went on to clinch their maiden NCAA title.
Projected Lineup and Full Roster for Nebraska’s 2026 Beach Volleyball Season
With Indoor assistant coach Jaylen Reyes as the head coach for the beach volleyball squad, the Huskers put up a dominant show in their season opener against Ottawa.

Amongst the aforementioned competitors, the biggest challenge might come from the Ave Maria, which finished fifth after falling in the gold bracket quarterfinals in 2024. Teams like Arizona State and Palm Beach Atlantic are also no pushovers for the Huskers.
Nebraska Volleyball squad is one of the few that doesn’t compete for a berth in the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships, which is why a comparison with the current champions, the TCU Horned Frogs, or even the runners-up Loyola Marymount, would be futile.
This is also the final season for both Murray & Jackson, who have been a part of the Nebraska squad since the 2023 season, having seen the highs and lows of the program.
