Murray Reveals Her Goal For The 2025 Season
Murray recently discussed her goals for the current season, the aspects of herself that people don’t get to see, and how playing volleyball is a dream come true for her, among many other topics.
In an interview on the NCAA Championships YouTube channel, Murray stated that every team that wins the national championship always has a ‘story’:
“Yeah, I feel like every year there’s always a story. Like my freshman year at Texas, they had a kind of wow season. They weren’t doing too well earlier on, and then in the tournament, they just took off. And then Penn State with Katie, in her battle with cancer, and then they win a national championship. Like I feel like there’s always a story and that’s something that our team has talked about this year.”
She then went on to talk about Nebraska’s story, speaking about their coach. “Our story can be like Dani, like we have a new coach, a new era of Nebraska volleyball, and we can win a national championship her first year here. Our goal is still the same and the standards are still the same,” Murray said.
Murray has yet to win a national championship with the Huskers, despite earning numerous individual accolades during her time with them so far. However, it appears they are on track to do so this season, as they continue to remain undefeated.
