Former Nebraska Volleyball standout Maisie Boesiger is celebrating a big milestone for her younger sister, Malorie. The high school standout has cracked the top 10 in the Class of 2027 volleyball rankings after a breakout year. Malorie played a key role in leading Norris High School to the Class B state championship last season, continuing the Boesiger family tradition on the court.
Nebraska Volleyball Sensation Maisie Boesiger Reacts To Malorie Making It To the Top Ten
Boesiger recently reacted to the list published on PrepVolleyball’s Instagram page. The list included Malorie Boesiger as the 10th most promising volleyball player for the 2026 season. The teen will be representing Norris High School for the final time this season, before she officially joins the Big Red team, i.e., the Nebraska Cornhuskers, for the 2027-28 season.

“So Proud of You”
Boesiger represented the Nebraska team for the last time in the 2025 season. While the libero contributed to the Huskers’ third consecutive Big Ten title, she saw her team edged out in the quarterfinals of the 2025 NCAA Championships by eventual champions, the Texas A&M Aggies.
Maisie Boesiger’s Track Record For The Nebraska Volleyball Team
Boesiger had joined the Big Red team in the 2022 season. She previously led her school to the State Championships under the mentorship of her mother, Christina Boesiger.
Boesiger has been a part of all the Nebraska teams that won the Big Ten Conference titles from 2023 to 2025. She was also part of the Nebraska squad that finished as runner-up at the 2023 NCAA Championships, losing to the Texas Longhorns in the finals. The 22-year-old libero was also a part of the Nebraska squad that qualified for the semifinals of the 2024 NCAA Championships.
Boesiger has been more of a defensive player rather than an attacking one, with a career total of 59 digs and a strike rate of 0.480 digs per set. She achieved her career high of 23 digs in her final season for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, i.e., the 2025 season. Interestingly, she recorded 13 digs in a single match against the Ohio State Buckeyes during the final leg of the 2025 Big Ten Conference, which the Huskers won 20-0.
