Madison Chock and Evan Bates are celebrated not only for their excellence in ice dancing but also for their popularity among fans as one of figure skating’s most recognizable couples. After seven years together, the duo celebrated a major milestone in their relationship with their marriage in Hawaii in 2024.

For Chock, marriage has brought an added sense of unity to a partnership that was already deeply rooted.

Opening up about life with her husband, she shared how getting married has further strengthened their connection, both on and off the ice.

Rather than transforming their relationship, Chock explained that marriage reinforced what was already there: a shared commitment to each other and to their careers. It also deepened their sense of teamwork beyond competition, shaping how they approach life together and support one another in all their pursuits.

Speaking in a recent interview with E!, she stated, “We already had such a deep understanding and bond through skating, but since we’ve been married, I really feel like we just take everything on as partners and champion each other on and off the ice in whatever endeavor we’re pursuing.”

Off the ice, the couple are parents to two dogs, Stella (13) and Henry (9), who often serve as their training partners.

Notably, the couple also won their consecutive Grand Prix Final gold earlier this month, following earlier wins in Beijing and Grenoble. Additionally, the pair has won four silver medals across the Grand Prix circuit.

Chock Pens Heartfelt Message After Special GP Final Performance in Japan

After winning the Grand Prix Final title with a total score of 220.42, which included a season-best free dance, Chock took a moment to turn the spotlight toward the audience in Japan, offering heartfelt thanks to the fans who filled the arena.

Chock shared the note in an Instagram post featuring highlights from the Grand Prix Final in Nagoya, captioning it:

“GP Final 2025 ✨It feels so special to perform in Japan. We are so grateful to the fans for giving us the stage to create magical moments. We embraced every moment and enjoyed every second. Thank you ❤️”

Beyond the celebrations, Chock also reflected on what the performance signaled for the road ahead. Speaking at a post-event interview, she said the result reinforced their confidence that they are capable of achieving their goals, while also acknowledging that there is still work to be done before they feel ready for the Winter Olympics in Milan 2026.
