Louisville Volleyball vs Texas A&M in Regional Semifinals: Preview, Start Times, Complete Live Streaming Details and Team Roster

Dan Meske leads the Louisville Cardinals against Jamie Morrison and Texas A&M in a high-stakes NCAA Regional Semifinal matchup in Lincoln.

The Louisville Volleyball is all set for the next game of the 2025 NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championships. The Cardinals will be facing the Texas A&M Aggies for the Regional Semifinals [also known as the Round of 16] of the NCAA Championships.

The two-time runner-up at the NCAA Championships may have been ranked higher than the Aggies, but they’re no pushovers. The Cardinals are hoping to repeat their performance from the 2024 edition, with former Nebraska assistant coach Dan Meske mentoring the side.

Preview of Louisville Volleyball vs Texas A&M Aggies

Between the Cardinals and the Aggies, the latter has a minor edge over the former. The Aggies are aiming to qualify for their first quarterfinals since the 2001 edition. They recently defeated the TCU women’s volleyball team in the second-round game to make it to the Round of 16, after conceding the first set by 23-25. The ‘Maroon and White’ team is mentored by former national assistant coach Jamie Morrison.

On the other hand, the Louisville Cardinals had to fight it out against the Marquette Golden Eagles team to win the game and subsequently the ticket to the next round. Coach Meske’s team won the game by 3-2. All eyes will be on Cara Cresse and Chloe Meester, who have delivered for the team in both games, especially during the blocks.

Potential Challengers for Louisville Volleyball In Future Games

If the Cardinals make it to the quarterfinals, their first opponent will be the Big Reds, i.e., the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Interestingly, the head coach for the team is Dani Busboom Kelly, who led the Cardinals to the finals last year.

Even if the Cardinals make it to the final four, the road to the NCAA Championships is anything but a cakewalk. The Texas Longhorns will be waiting for them in the semifinals, and unless Meske’s team overcomes them, it’s anything but easy.
