Jordan Chiles adds another feather in her cap as she reaches the ‘Dancing With The Stars’ season 34 finals, following the conclusion of week 10. During week 10 of the competition, Chiles and her partner, Ezra Sosa, performed twice. Their first dance to “Raspberry Beret” earned them a score of 27, while their second performance to “U Got the Look” received a perfect score of 30.
With a total of 57 points, the duo secured a tie for fourth place, ensuring their spot in the final week of the competition.
Jordan Chiles Manifested Being in the DWTS Finals With Her Partner Ezra Sosa
Although Chiles made it to the final week of the competition on Tuesday, the American gymnast had a firm belief that she and her partner would compete till the end for the Mirroball Trophy. Now, as the dreams turn to reality, the American gymnast expressed her happiness at reaching the finals in a post-show interview.
Chiles said, “It’s been It’s honestly such an exciting moment. I am very, very proud, not only just of myself, but the both of us. People don’t understand. We worked each and every day, making sure we had the opportunity to be in this finale.”
“So I’m just happy that we’re here, and it just brings me back to week one, where I was like, you know what, Ezra, we’re making it to the finale watch. We’re gonna be with the rest of those people no matter what,” Chiles said while revealing what she said to Sosa before the beginning of the season.
In the DWTS finals, five pairs, including Chiles and Sosa, will be competing for the prestigious Mirrorball Trophy. One pair, Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, was eliminated following the conclusion of week 10.
Biles Names a Former Gymnast Who Inspired Her to Compete in DWTS
Before Chiles, several of her gymnastics counterparts, such as Simone Biles and Suni Lee, have competed on DWTS, showcasing their prowess while carving out successful athletic careers. However, one gymnast who instilled self-belief in Chiles to explore dance is the four-time Olympic medalist Shawn Johnson.
In a recent interview, Chiles shared how Johnson’s DWTS apperances made her confident to try out dancing. She said, “I mean, Shawn Johnson was somebody that I looked up to. She was somebody that I felt confident in being the gymnast I am because I had the same body shape with her. I was very energetic, short, and stocky. So when I saw her on DWTS, I was like, I can do that.”

Notably, Johnson made two appearances on DWTS during seasons 8 and 15, winning the Mirroball Trophy in her first appearance with Mark Ballas and finishing second in her second appearance with Derek Hough.
