Jordan Chiles hilariously shut down a false claim about her and her Dancing with the Stars partner, Ezra Sosa, regarding their alleged engagement. The American gymnast was among the celebrity roster in DWTS, finishing in third place.
Chiles and Sosa have not only been dance partners on the reality show but have also forged a strong friendship that has continued even after their stint on Dancing with the Stars.

Chiles has often made headlines for her bronze medal controversy, her evolution into a gymnast-turned-fashion icon, and much more. She has also turned heads with her dancing flair and bold outfit choices on the competition floor, often incorporating pop-star influences into her routines.
As one of the celebrities of DWTS, Chiles won hearts with her impressive routines, quickly becoming a fan favorite in the highly competitive season. She and Sosa culminated their season with near-perfect scores, earning a third-place finish behind winner Robert Irwin and runner-up Alix Earle.
In a recent Instagram story, Sosa posted a screenshot of a news article he stumbled upon, which claimed that Chiles and the professional dancer are secretly engaged. Reacting to the false claim, the latter congratulated the gymnast on their new life milestone and wrote:
“news to me!!!! @jordanchiles congratulations to us”
The two-time Olympic medalist hilariously reacted with a couple of laughing emojis.

Chiles will enter her final year at UCLA after winning the individual title on the uneven bars and helping her team secure a runner-up finish in the all-around competition.

Chiles was part of the silver-winning U.S. gymnastics team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She repeated the feat at the 2024 Paris Games, winning gold with the squad headlined by Simone Biles. She won the individual bronze in the floor routine but had to give it up in the wake of a controversy. The World medalist was gifted a bronze clock by rapper Flavor Flav after she lost it to Ana Barbosu.
The 24-year-old has made significant strides at the collegiate level and will continue to pursue her LA Olympics dreams. In an interview earlier this year, the gymnast said:
“It’s on my mind. It’s not completely out of my head. I still think about it.”
As one of the leading faces of Nike, Chiles has been part of several endorsement campaigns. She was also part of the New York Fashion Week and debuted as a cover girl in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
