Jordan Chiles’ Mom Loses It in Excitement As Daughter Makes DWTS Finals

Jordan Chiles’ mother, Gina Chiles, expresses excitement as Jordan makes it to the finals of Dancing With the Stars following a thrilling performance.

Jordan Chiles has made it to the finals of Dancing With the Stars Season 34, and her mother, Gina Chiles, is brimming with excitement. The American gymnast put up an impressive performance in the semifinals of the reality dance competition series, garnering a perfect score from the judges.

​Gina has notably remained one of her daughter’s biggest cheerleaders, right from when she kicked off her junior gymnastics career in 2013. Now, Jordan is one of the most recognizable gymnasts, having achieved several gold, silver, and bronze medals across multiple competitions.

Gina Chiles Reacts to Jordan Chiles Making It to DWTS Finals

Gina and Timothy Chiles were sitting front and center at the semifinals of Dancing With the Stars, cheering their daughter on.

​Gina shared a picture carousel on Instagram, recapping the night, and the first slide showed a picture of herself and her husband posing in excitement during the show. Other slides captured Jordan and her dance partner, Ezra Sosa, during candid moments in the show.

​In the caption, the artistic gymnast’s mother didn’t hold back on letting the world know how excited she was to witness her daughter making it to the finals.

​”Ahhhhhhh!!! She’s in the finals!!!!! I can’t express the level of freak out we did!! That final moment was insane,” she wrote. She further gushed over the performance her daughter put up, writing, “Do I cry? Do I scream? Do I throw up? Do I pass out? LOL. Jordan & Ezra DANCED y’all. That was EVERYTHING!! LET’S GOOOOOO!!”

​Jordan and Sosa performed an Argentine tango to Prince’s “U Got the Look” and got 30 out of 30 points, their first perfect score from the judges. Before that, they performed Prince’s “Raspberry Beret,” which earned them 27 out of 30 points.

What Did Chiles Say About Getting a Perfect Score on DWTS?

Just like Gina, Jordan’s excitement was also through the roof following her performance in the semifinals of Dancing With the Stars. During an interview with People Magazine, the artistic gymnast stated that achieving the perfect score gave her a huge boost in confidence.

“That’s my first perfect score in anything. And I’m so happy it was on Dancing with the Stars. Now I actually feel more confident in myself of getting a perfect score in my sport, which is pretty crazy to say,” she said.

​The 24-year-old gymnast also spoke heartwarmingly about her dance partner, Sosa, thanking him for being supportive and for making it a “remarkable experience” for her. Meanwhile, Sosa was still reeling from the shock of making it to the finals. He acknowledged that while he was excited to have made it, he “never believed in a million years” that he would be where he is today.
