Forrest’s Track Record In The 2025 Season
Forrest has had a brilliant record in the 2025 season. The high school wrestling sensation from Bishop McCort School marked his presence in both national and international wrestling.
The 19-year-old Forrest announced his commitment to the Oklahoma State Cowboys in February 2025. Subsequently, the teenage sensation stunned everyone with his performance at the US Open National Championships, winning the gold medal and qualifying for Final X, where he faced Vito Arujau for a spot in the US team for the World Wrestling Championships.
Forrest defeated Arujau to qualify for both the senior and the U23 level of the World Championships. The teenage wrestler clinched a gold medal at the Pan American Championships held in Monterrey, Mexico.
Forrest was on the verge of creating history at the World Championships, only to lose to former Olympic champion Zaur Uguev from Russia in the semifinals.
However, he ended his year on a sweet note by winning the U23 World Championship title. The teenage wrestler defeated Omurbek Asan Uulu of Kyrgyzstan to win the gold medal in the men’s 61kg category.
