Harper Murray, Bergen Reilly and Other Nebraska Volleyball Players Inspire Next Generation With Youth Camp

Nebraska volleyball players gave back to the community in a unique way. Prominent players Harper Murray, Bergen Reilly, Andi Jackson, and Laney Choboy decided to inspire future generations through a volleyball camp.

The Big Red team is raring to go all out this season. After a heartbreaking loss to the Texas A&M Aggies in the regional finals, the Huskers want the NCAA title, come what may.

Nebraska volleyball players such as Murray and Reilly shared photos from a youth volleyball camp they organized in Lincoln, Nebraska. Murray uploaded some of the photos and reels to her Instagram stories.

Meanwhile, former co-skipper Reilly described the purpose of the youth volleyball camp, as she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post,

“We’re back for Year 2 with @flexworkmgt and this one’s going to be even better! 🏐🔥 Our first 2026 date sold out, so we’re adding another full day with two new sessions. Let’s get to work, Nebraska #FlexWorkSports.”

Murray previously attended her alma mater, Legacy Volleyball Club, a couple of weeks ago for a similar volleyball camp. The NCAA season will not begin until August 2026, after which the Nebraska Cornhuskers will stake their claim to the NCAA Championships, scheduled to be held by the end of the year.

Nebraska Volleyball Targets for 2026 Season

It has been nearly a decade since the Nebraska Cornhuskers last tasted success at the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championships. The Huskers are one of the most consistent teams, having qualified for at least the regional finals since 2020 on more than one occasion. The Big Red team even advanced to the finals of the prestigious tournament in 2021 and 2023.

The Cornhuskers posted a near-perfect 33-1 record last season. Unfortunately, the lone loss came when it mattered most — during the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championships — when Jamie Morrison’s Texas A&M Aggies edged the Huskers 3-2 to qualify for the semifinals for the first time and eventually win their maiden NCAA title.

As such, head coach Dani Busboom Kelly would like nothing more than to settle the score with a perfect run this year. She was part of the iconic Nebraska team that won the 2006 NCAA Championships, which also featured former Olympic champion Jordan Larson. Busboom Kelly also completed the elusive hat trick of Big Ten Conference titles in her very first season as head coach of the Huskers.

Interestingly, none of the players from the Nebraska roster have entered the transfer portal thus far, meaning each will give it their all in pursuit of the program’s first NCAA title in nine years.
