Eileen Gu Reacts As Chloe Kim Enjoys Trip to Italian Fashion House
Italian luxury fashion house Ferragamo invited Kim to its Milan Fashion Week show. The snowboarder has often collaborated with the brand in the past and posted an Instagram image from the event on Monday.
“Incredible show thank you for having me @ferragamo,” she captioned the post.

The post received comments from several athletes and celebrities. Gu also commented under the post, writing, “Ate”.
Kim responded to Gu’s comment by writing, “Wait, I’m sad I didn’t see you.”
At the 2026 Winter Olympics, Kim made her third Olympic appearance and added another medal to her tally despite struggling with a shoulder injury. The 25-year-old won silver in the women’s halfpipe snowboarding event, adding to the gold medals she won in the discipline at the 2018 and 2022 Games.

Gu, meanwhile, won three Olympic medals at Milano Cortina. She won gold in the women’s halfpipe skiing event, as well as silver in the big air and slopestyle events. The 22-year-old had also won two gold medals and one silver medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Kim on How Shoulder Injury Affected Her at 2026 Winter Olympics
Kim sustained a dislocated shoulder just one month before the 2026 Winter Olympics, casting doubt on her participation. While she managed to compete at Milano Cortina and even won a silver medal, she later revealed just how difficult it was for her to move her arm.
The California native added that she would need to get surgery on her injured shoulder to fix the issue.
“You just have to keep putting it back in, and I didn’t have time to get surgery, which is the only way to repair it. I had a shoulder brace on that mobilized or restricted a lot of the movement… so I wasn’t able to raise my arm and I couldn’t move my arm much at all,” Kim said during her appearance on “CBS Mornings“.
With the Winter Olympics in the books, Kim will switch her focus to her rehab before returning to training for competition next season.
