American snowboarder Chloe Kim and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett are the newest power couple in sports, and they just made it official. Kim, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, has been sharing glimpses of her time with the NFL star, creating a buzz as she prepares for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Why Are Chloe Kim and Myles Garrett the Newest Sports Power Couple?
Both Chloe Kim and Myles Garrett have achieved massive success in their respective fields. Kim is one of snowboarding’s most dominant figures, with two Olympic gold medals and multiple World Championship titles to her name. Meanwhile, Garrett is a force on the football field, having earned the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award for his standout play with the Cleveland Browns.
The narrative of the pair as a sports power couple solidified after Kim attended her boyfriend’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The two shared an adorable kiss at Allegiant Stadium, confirming their relationship for the public. Shortly after, Kim posted pictures on her Instagram that highlighted her snowboarding practice and included a sweet moment with Garrett from his NFL game. The caption for the post read, “Been busy in the best way! 🥰.”
In addition to her personal life making headlines, Kim continues to dominate her sport. The 25-year-old recently secured a gold medal in the halfpipe event at the FIS Freestyle Snowboarding and Ski Championships with an impressive score of 93.50.
How Does Gaming Help Kim Sharpen Her Competitive Edge?
Outside of snowboarding, Kim revealed she has a passion for gaming, which she believes helps fuel her competitive spirit. The two-time Olympic champion is reportedly a big fan of games like Pokémon and Mario Kart.
Explaining how gaming contributes to her career, Kim said, “I think having a love for gaming is everything to me and who I am because I think it allows me to just entertain my younger self, and it’s just so fun. My best friend, Austin… he definitely is the most competitive person, I think.”
“But even my boyfriend, he’s so good at video games. What came first is probably my love of snowboarding, but my love for video games came very shortly after that,” Kim added, giving a nod to Garrett’s skills.
Currently, the California-born snowboarder is preparing for the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics in 2026. Her goal is to defend the halfpipe titles she won in the previous two Olympic games, adding another chapter to her already legendary career.
