Amber Glenn’s Sister Shares Delight After Olympic Qualification
With the 2026 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in the books, Glenn’s sister reflected on the tournament with a post on Instagram. Brooke Glenn shared a number of photos and videos in a carousel post, with one featuring her sister donning a Team USA cap for the 2026 Winter Olympics after her triumph at the national championships.
She captioned her post, “My biggest blessing in life is seeing my sister achieve her dreams🥇❤️ Amber Glenn, YOU are going to the Olympics!!!”
Amber responded with the comment, “Ilysm.”
The Winter Olympics will take place in Milan and Cortina, Italy, from February 6 to 22, 2026. Glenn will have her sights set on winning her maiden Olympic medal but will face tough competition from compatriots Liu and Levito.
What Glenn Said After National Championships Triumph
Glenn made history as she became the first woman since Michelle Kwan (2003-05) to win three consecutive U.S. Figure Skating Championships titles. She delivered dominant performances in both the short program and the free skate, ultimately finishing almost five points clear of second-placed Alysa Liu.
“Just so grateful,” Glenn said afterwards on the NBC broadcast. “That was terrifying and I had to skate after these two incredible ladies [Liu and Levito] brought the house down, so I’m glad that I didn’t disappoint too much. I’m still just mind blown.”
MORE: Why Amber Glenn Never Had an Olympic Goal and How It Only Took Shape Years Later
After her Olympic qualification was announced, she added (via WUSA9), “I didn’t even dream of that as a kid because I was like, ah, no. Only so many people make it. Like that’s not going to happen. So, it only became like a goal of mine a couple of years ago. But I’ve been working so hard to reach my potential, and I knew that one day my potential could be making an Olympic team, and to finally do that is so satisfying.
The 2026 Winter Olympics will mark Glenn’s Olympic debut, making her the oldest American woman to qualify for an Olympic singles team since 1928, per ESPN. She will hope to use this experience to her advantage on the grandest stage in the sport of figure skating.
