Nyckoles Harbor is a wide receiver from South Carolina projected to be selected in the 2026 NFL Draft. This comprehensive scouting report analyzes Harbor’s draft potential, current mock draft trends, and where he ranks among the top prospects.
Nyckoles Harbor’s NFL Draft Potential
Nyckoles Harbor has been heavily anticipated as an NFL Draft prospect since his ascension as a consensus five-star recruit and two-way star playing wide receiver and edge rusher at Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, D.C. He signed with South Carolina out of high school, and upon joining the Gamecocks, he committed to playing WR full-time and made an impact as a true freshman.
Two years later, Harbor’s production hasn’t caught on fully, but the raw physical tools amaze week in and week out. A Feldman Freak who ran a blistering 10.28 100-meter dash in high school, Harbor’s size-speed profile is truly inhuman at 6’5″, 235 pounds, and that profile has borne fruit in 2025. Through nine games, Harbor has 21 catches for 401 yards and four touchdowns. He’s averaging almost 20 yards per catch, and has been LaNorris Sellers’ favorite downfield target.
Harbor will earn the allure of NFL teams with his vertical speed and size alone — but as an NFL Draft prospect, he has a long way to go before he’s a complete player, and there are notable limitations for his projection at wide receiver. Harbor at least has a semblance of stem IQ on the vertical plane, but he’s relatively stiff in the hips, with very little hip sink and malleability on route breaks, and as domineering as his physical profile is, he’s not the best at playing catch-point positioning, and he has a highly concerning PFF drop rate of 11.4%.
On my board, Harbor is not a draftable prospect at this stage — largely because of his naturally limited route tree and lack of proficiency as a catch-point operator. His primary function as a linear speed threat and field-stretcher is also arguably his only function. He’d benefit from an extra year in college to refine his game, but a move to tight end could also be more in line with his skill set, or a shift back to the defensive side of the ball. When Harbor declares, an NFL team will inevitably spend a certain level of capital to acquire his tools, but his ultimate ceiling remains theoretical.
Where Is Harbor Being Selected Most Often in the PFSN Mock Draft Simulator?
Harbor currently holds the No. 205 overall rank among prospects, reflecting his standing among mid-round prospects. His most recent Average Draft Position (ADP) of 190.6 as of October 27 reflects that he is typically being selected in the middle rounds.
Interestingly, his ADP is higher than his rank, suggesting that users are targeting him more aggressively than his positional ranking might indicate.
Users controlling the Atlanta Falcons have been the team that selected Harbor the most frequently over the past week, accounting for 1.3% of their picks across all seven rounds.
