Oilers Vs. Canucks: Who’s Out Tonight?
Last season, the Canucks had to withstand the pain of having their key players injured and consequently away from the ice during crucial games. However, the Canucks would not have to bear the absence of players like Elias Pettersson and Thatcher Demko in their showdown against the Oilers. Vancouver has four players on the Injured Reserve: Pierre Olivier-Joseph, Jett Woo (Injured non-roster list), Guillaume Brisebois (injured non-roster list), and Nils Hoglander.
Zach Hyman, Mattias Janmark, and Jake Walman will remain absent as the men in blue and orange face the Canucks. For a reason unrelated to injuries, the team’s newly acquired center, Jack Roslovic, will be absent from the game at Rogers Place.
Will the Oilers be successful in regaining their lost face and winning McDavid’s long-term support? The community will soon find out.
