Edmonton Oilers’ captain Connor McDavid’s wife Lauren Kyle sparks buzz after hinting at a possible Vancouver Canucks collaboration during an Instagram Q&A.

Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid is enjoying a strong run on the ice, with the Oilers winning six of their last nine games and sitting third in the Pacific Division with a 17-13-6 record.

Off the ice, however, it was his wife, Lauren Kyle, who found herself in the spotlight after a recent Instagram update sparked buzz involving the Vancouver Canucks.

During the Q&A, she fielded a mix of personal, business, and design-related questions. When one fan asked about a possible collaboration with the Canucks. Her reply immediately grabbed attention. “Might have something in the near future,” she said, with a clothing setup visible behind her.

Kyle is a well-known entrepreneur behind multiple ventures in fashion, furniture, sports-inspired apparel, retail, and hospitality. The question appeared to reference her past work with Sports Club Atelier for Oilers-themed designs. It sparked speculation that a similar project involving Vancouver could be on the horizon.

Another fan asked whether she had plans to expand Trove Living, her luxury furniture showroom based in Edmonton, to another city. Kyle confirmed that expansion is already in the works, saying, “Excited to get this question because yes this is in the works @troveliningca.”

She also teased upcoming Sports Club Atelier releases, including a collection tied to Team Canada for the Olympics. When asked about the launch timeline, Kyle revealed, “January! Keep an eye out.”

“What kind of things inspire your designs for SCA? They’re sooo gorgeous.”

One fan asked what inspires her designs for Sports Club Atelier, calling them “so gorgeous.”

Kyle responded warmly, saying, “Awe thank you!! A lot of it comes from the story we want to create with each collection. We usually start with the history of team or the overall I’ve we want it to have, and inspire and that really drives the colors, textures and details to each piece.”
