With a few stars also headed to attend the State of the Union, the team made it a point to go all out in their celebrations as they hit a nightclub in Miami to paint the town red.

Team USA secured a 2-1 overtime win against Canada at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics, with Jack Hughes scoring the game-winner late in extra time. The result ended a close contest where Canada pushed hard in the second and third periods but could not convert on key chances. Connor McDavid finished without a point in the final after a strong tournament overall, winning MVP.
Soon after the game, USA players gathered in Miami to celebrate the gold medal. Auston Matthews and Brady Tkachuk were among those leading the group inside a nightclub.
The celebration took place at E11even Miami, where the team had access to a private area along with an open bar window and enjoyed champagne in the nightclub.
During the night, the group sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” together, and multiple stars were spotted smoking cigars.
Players also chanted “USA” multiple times as the celebration continued inside the venue. The moment brought back the feeling from the rink, where they stood together, and finally touched their gold medals.
The game in Milan was close, and it tested both sides. Matt Boldy scored early to give the United States a lead, while Cale Makar tied the game late in the second period. Canada created several chances, including a five-on-three power play, but could not find another goal. Connor Hellebuyck played a critical role in keeping the score even.
In overtime, a quick play decided the result. Zach Werenski won a puck battle and found Hughes in the slot, where he beat the goaltender to end the game. The United States earned its third Olympic gold medal with the win.
