It’s been a rough watch for New England Patriots fans, as their team was shut out by the Seattle Seahawks in the first three quarters of the Super Bowl. They might not be having the worst experience of the night, though, as users streaming the game on Peacock are having a tough time enjoying the stream. Peacock is struggling to get their broadcast in order.
NFL World Reacts to Poor Peacock Broadcast
Peacock seems to have dropped the ball for the biggest game of the year. One analyst took to social media to rip into Peacock.
“Peacock really struggling to maintain a steady stream with a huge audience tonight. Switched to Youtube TV at the house and much, much better there,” said Greg Auman.

Auman isn’t the only one sharing this experience. “Hard to overstate how terrible the Peacock streaming experience is. AOL dial up levels of awful,” said a reporter.

Peacock will be kicking themselves for messing up this stream. It simply cannot happen when fans are relying on them to stream the biggest event in American sports.
“Peacock’s stream of the Super Bowl keeps glitching and having issues. This is brutal,” said PFSN’s Alex Kennedy.

The Patriots need to find their rhythm right now, or else they could catch more slack than Peacock. Seattle has simply done everything right tonight.
Their defense has been dominant, giving Drake Maye and New England nightmares. They eventually found the end zone in the fourth quarter with a long touchdown to Mack Hollins to give themselves a chance. Maye finally settled in, but Peacock doesn’t have the same ability to bounce back because the damage has already been done.
Many people took a mass exodus from Peacock to wherever they could watch the game on because of the poor coverage. It is hard to believe that Peacock would drop the ball as badly as they did, considering they don’t get to cover the game every year. Now, they’ll have to wait years before they get the opportunity to broadcast the game again.

It’s horrible. I have fiber and gig speeds, and I would swear it’s acting like I have a dial up modem at times. Screen cuts out but still hear audio. Quality gets pixelated a lot. Stop and starts to reconnect. Bad.
