It’s the first day of training camp in Cincinnati, and Bengals players have already reached its boiling point.
Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase was involved in an altercation with a few members of the defense, including DJ Turner II and Jalen Davis.
NFL Fans React to Ja’Marr Chase’s Brawl With Teammate
In the now viral video, Chase is seen engaging in a verbal dispute with Turner, ripping off his teammate’s helmet and launching it roughly 20 yards.
It didn’t take long for the rest of the NFL world to take notice and they were quick to share their thoughts on social media.

Another X user questioned how Chase’s fire would impact the Bengals and who he might go after next.

Another NFL fan joked that despite the five-time Pro-Bowlers’ edgy and fiery response, the Bengals would still struggle this year.

While some were shocked and joked about the altercation, one fan thought that Chase’s actions cast a negative light on the Bengals.

Chase finished the 2025 season with 125 catches, 1,412 yards, and 8 touchdowns.
Last season, Chase was the fifth-best receiver in the NFL, according to PFN’s WR Impact Score, as he received an 86.5 grade. Only Puka Nacua, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, George Pickens, and Amon-Ra St. Brown graded higher.
With the regular season on the horizon, Bengals fans can only hope that Chase’s fire fuels the team rather than hurting morale behind the scenes.
