NFL RedZone Stream 2021: Week 11 schedule, TV channel, start time, and how to watch

With the 2021 NFL season ramping up as the playoffs near, what is NFL RedZone, how much does it cost, and how can you watch the show?

With the 2021 NFL season moving past the halfway point, each week is becoming increasingly more meaningful. As a result, watching as many games as possible on Sundays is crucial for NFL fans. To offer fans one of the best NFL-viewing experiences, NFL RedZone launched in 2009. What is NFL RedZone, how much does it cost, and where can you watch it?

What is NFL RedZone?

Host Scott Hanson walks viewers through every touchdown from every game on every Sunday during the regular season. The show kicks off alongside the early slate of games (1 PM ET) and runs through the afternoon window (4 PM), leading up to Sunday Night Football.

Up to eight games can be shown at once with the show’s “octobox.” As the channel’s name suggests, the emphasis is on when teams cross the red zone (opponent’s 20-yard line). At that point, the show tunes in to the live local broadcast. Additionally, Hanson walks viewers through turnovers, chunk plays, and touchdowns outside of the red zone.

How to watch NFL RedZone

Unfortunately, you cannot purchase NFL RedZone by itself. However, there are several ways to get your hands on the channel. NFL Sunday Ticket Max offers the NFL RedZone and DirecTV Fantasy Zone channels. The service costs $99 per month for four months or a one-time $395.99 payment. There is also a student discount that is much more affordable.

Those without DirecTV can only get NFL Sunday Ticket if they live in an area that can’t get service from the satellite TV provider. Another avenue to eligibility is if you live in a multi-unit residence such as an apartment, condo, or dormitory. Other TV providers with plans that offer NFL RedZone include COX, Dish, Optimum, Spectrum, Xfinity, and Fios.

If you don’t want to or can’t afford a cable contract, don’t fret. You can watch NFL RedZone with subscriptions to one of these four streaming services: Sling TV, fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, or YouTube TV (all of which offer free trials). Some of these services require a “sports package” add-on, so be sure to select the option that includes the channel.

Furthermore, if you want or have an NFL Game Pass subscription, you can add NFL RedZone mobile to the plan at an additional $34.99 a year.

How to stream NFL RedZone

If you have NFL RedZone through any previously mentioned methods, you can stream it on NFL.com, NFL Mobile, and iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, and Amazon Fire TV.
