New York Giants at Cleveland Browns

Giants: New York added Burns to their injury report on Friday, suggesting he was injured during practice.

Browns: Njoku is believed to be dealing with a high-ankle sprain. He didn’t play in Week 2 or practice today.

Neither of Cleveland’s starting offensive tackles — Wills and Conklin — have played yet this season. James Hudson III and Dawand Jones will hold down the fort again in Week 3 if they can’t suit up.

Green Bay Packers at Tennessee Titans

Packers: Malik Willis led Green Bay to a win in Week 2, but Love is hoping to return to action against the Titans on Sunday. He told reporters he’s “giving himself the week” but wants to suit up in Week 3.

Love was limited in practice all week. He’s officially questionable for Sunday, while head coach Matt LaFleur said the Packers are still evaluating Love’s availability.

Titans: Spears, who’s been working behind Tony Pollard in Tennessee’s backfield, returned to practice on Thursday as a limited participant after sitting out on Wednesday. He fully practiced on Friday, suggesting he could suit up in Week 3.

    Chicago Bears at Indianapolis Colts

Bears: Allen never practiced last week and didn’t play in Week 2 despite garnering a questionable tag. He followed the same trend heading into Week 3 but has already been ruled out ahead of Chicago’s game against the Colts.

“We’re obviously wanting him to come back as fast as possible,” head coach Matt Eberflus said Wednesday. “But it has to be right for him.”

Fortunately, fellow WR Rome Odunze (knee) managed a full practice on Friday and will be available on Sunday.

Colts: Pittman popped up on Indy’s Friday practice report, but head coach Shane Steichen said the club’s WR1 is expected to play against the Packers on Sunday.

Fellow WR Josh Downs, who hasn’t played since suffering a high-ankle sprain in training camp, said he plans to play in Week 3. He was questionable for Week 2 but didn’t suit up.

    Houston Texans at Minnesota Vikings

Texans: Houston’s backfield is in flux entering Week 3. Neither Mixon nor Pierce practiced all week. If they can’t play on Sunday, Cam Akers will emerge as the Texans’ starting RB, with Dare Ogunbowale in support.

WR Nico Collins (hip/foot) didn’t practice Wednesday and was limited on Thursday but returned for a full Friday session and won’t carry an injury designation for Week 3.

Vikings: WR Justin Jefferson was optimistic about his quad injury after Week 2 and started this week with limited practice on Wednesday. He said on Thursday that he would play on Sunday and that his quad felt great. He practiced fully on Friday and has no injury designation for Week 3.

Addison has remained a DNP after sitting out Week 2 and won’t play on Sunday.

Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints

Eagles: Brown suffered a hamstring injury during last Friday’s practice and didn’t play on MNF. He admitted that he expects to miss “a couple of weeks.”

Saints: Hill returned to practice on Thursday and Friday as a limited participant. Still, he’s only considered questionable for Week 3.

Los Angeles Chargers at Pittsburgh Steelers

Chargers: Herbert didn’t practice on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday, and didn’t participate again on Friday. If Herbert can’t go, Easton Stick will likely start against Pittsburgh.

On Friday, Herbert said he’s battling a high-ankle sprain and admitted his status for Week 3 has yet to be determined.

Palmer hasn’t practiced yet this week. After dealing with a knee injury threatening his Week 2 availability, Palmer now has elbow and calf problems.

Steelers: Wilson remained a limited participant on Thursday. Pittsburgh has no reason to turn away from Justin Fields after starting the season 2-0. Seumalo and Pruitt were DNPs all week.

Denver Broncos at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Broncos: Denver placed starting right tackle Mike McGlinchey (MCL sprain) on IR this week. Browning never practiced this week after picking up a foot injury in Week 2.

Buccaneers: Most of the Bucs’ problems are on the defensive side of the ball, where starters like Vea, Kancey, and Winfield were all missing practice. Only Vea has a chance to play among that group.

Justin Skule — Goedeke’s replacement at right tackle — gave up three sacks in Week 2. Fortunately, he doesn’t have to face Aidan Hutchinson again on Sunday.

Carolina Panthers at Las Vegas Raiders

Panthers: Tuttle was the only Panthers player not practicing this week.

Raiders: Crosby and Wilkins were limited all week, but there’s been no indication that either is in danger of missing Week 3.

    Miami Dolphins at Seattle Seahawks

Dolphins: Head coach Mike McDaniel said Friday that Mostert is unlikely to play in Week 2 despite beginning the week with limited practices. Mostert didn’t practice at all last week and sat out Miami’s loss to the Bills.

De’Von Achane will see all the carries he can handle, especially with starting Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) on IR. Jeff Wilson Jr. is next up on the club’s RB depth chart.

Seahawks: Walker didn’t play in Week 2 or practice this week. Zach Charbonnet totaled 69 yards from scrimmage and scored a touchdown in Walker’s absence. He’ll be Seattle’s starting RB against Miami.

    Baltimore Ravens at Dallas Cowboys

    • Ravens: WR Deonte Harty, QUESTIONABLE (calf); EDGE David Ojabo, QUESTIONABLE (quad); CB Nate Wiggins, QUESTIONABLE (neck/concussion)
    • Cowboys: WR Jalen Brooks, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); TE John Stephens, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); DT Mazi Smith, QUESTIONABLE (back)

Ravens: Wiggins was Baltimore’s only limited player during Friday’s practice.

Cowboys: WR CeeDee Lamb (ankle) missed Wednesday’s practice but was a full participant by Friday. He doesn’t have an injury designation for Week 3.

TE Jake Ferguson is set to return on Sunday after missing Week 2 with a knee injury.

San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams

49ers: Samuel strained his calf in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Vikings and is expected to miss multiple weeks. Fellow WR Jauan Jennings will see more opportunities opposite Brandon Aiyuk

On Thursday, Kittle landed on the injury report for the first time this week after sitting out of Thursday’s practice with hamstring tightness. He didn’t practice and appears unlikely to play in Week 3.

Brock Purdy could be without Christian McCaffrey, Samuel, and Kittle on Sunday.

Rams: Los Angeles’ IR list is as long as any team in the leauge’s, but Kupp won’t be joining it

On Wednesday, head coach Sean McVay said Kupp’s ankle injury did not require surgery and isn’t season-ending. Kupp would’ve missed at least four games by going on IR, so the Rams must think he can return sooner than that.

Kupp is believed to be dealing with a high-ankle sprain. He’ll be in a cast for the next week before starting the rehab process. Matthew Stafford’s top receivers are now Demarcus Robinson, Tyler Johnson, and Jordan Whittington.

    Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals

Lions: Detroit can’t afford to be without Arnold while facing Arizona’s high-flying offense. He returned for a limited practice on Friday, while Justin Rogers of Detroit Football Network suggested Arnold should be ready to play in Week 3.

Cardinals: Arizona added Dortch and Beachum to its injury report on Friday, so they may have been injured during practice.

Dortch was limited to end the week, indicating he might still be good to go for Week 3. If not, Chris Moore, Zach Pascal, and/or rookie UDFA Xavier Weaver could seem time as the Cards’ WR3.

Beachum didn’t practice on Friday, which is concerning for his availability on Sunday. He’s already filling in for starting right tackle Jonah Williams, who’s on IR with a knee injury. Practice-squaders Jackson Barton and Charlie Heck could see time if Beachum doesn’t suit up.

Kansas City Chiefs at Atlanta Falcons (SNF)

    • Chiefs: No notable injuries.
    • Falcons: No notable injuries.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Buffalo Bills (MNF)

Jaguars: After missing last week with a hamstring injury, Engram didn’t return to practice on Thursday. He missed Friday’s session, too, suggesting he’s trending toward sitting out in Week 3. Bigsby has been limited by a shoulder injury.

Bills: Bernard and Johnson, two critical members of Buffalo’s defense, are practicing ahead of a Week 3 date with Jacksonville.

Washington Commanders at Cincinnati Bengals (MNF)

Commanders: All five injured Commanders were limited on Friday.

Bengals: Higgins returned to practice on Thursday as a limited participant. He was limited again on Friday and is trending toward making his season debut in Week 3.
