It’ll be the De’Von Achane Show again Sunday for the Miami Dolphins, as running back Raheem Mostert is doubtful to play due to a chest injury.
Tackle Terron Armstead will be in the lineup, however, after leaving Week 2 with a shoulder injury.
That’s according to Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel, who provided an injury update for the team ahead of their final practice of the week.
Will Miami Dolphins Have Terron Armstead, Raheem Mostert?
McDaniel, asked if Mostert would return to the lineup after missing Week 2, said, “We’ll see. … [I’m] pessimistic that he’ll play, but I can’t rule it out.”
That means another big role for Achane. The Dolphins also will count on Jeff Wilson Jr. and Jaylen Wright to contribute.
One player who definitely won’t play? Wide receiver Grant DuBose, is dealing with a non-season-ending shoulder injury. McDaniel ruled him out of Sunday’s game.

So that does mean we’ll see the NFL debut of Malik Washington, who missed the first two games of the season with a quadriceps injury but returned to practice this week? Likely not. He is also doubtful, per the team’s Friday injury report.
“He’s trending the right way,” McDaniel said of Washington. “He’s either playing under the expectation that we’re not going to risk anything or he just missed [the cutoff] by a day or so.”
Either way, the Dolphins will almost certainly activate Erik Ezukanma from the practice squad for Sunday’s game, particularly after cutting Robbie Chosen earlier this week.
Tua Tagovailoa, meanwhile, is healthy enough to make the trip to Seattle with his teammates — a wonderful sign as he continues his recovery from last week’s concussion. Tagovailoa is on injured reserve and will miss at least the next four games.
As for the Seahawks? They are even more banged up.
Nine starters missed either some or all of practice Thursday due to injury: LB Uchenna Nwosu (knee), NT Jarran Reed (knee), RB Kenneth Walker III (oblique), LB Jerome Baker (hamstring), OT George Fant (toe), TE Noah Fant (toe), WR Tyler Lockett (thigh), DE Leonard Williams (knee), and CB Devon Witherspoon (hamstring).
Walker has led his team in rushing yards every year he’s been in the league. If he cannot go, the Dolphins can expect to see a lot of Zach Charbonnet, who is averaging 2.3 yards per carry this year and 3.9 for his career.
