NFL Inactives Tonight: Chargers at Jets Injury Report and Starting Lineups

The Los Angeles Chargers are visiting the New York Jets in the Monday Night Football game at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN and ABC. This is the second MNF appearance for both teams this season; the Jets defeated the Bills in Week 1, and the Chargers lost to the Cowboys in Week 6.

The Chargers will be missing a big part of the offense because wide receiver Joshua Palmer was ruled out with a knee injury. Palmer has taken on a bigger role since wide receiver Mike Williams tore his ACL in Week 3. He has 15 receptions for 294 yards in the last four games.

Latest Injury Report News and Updates

Palmer is the only offensive starter given an injury designation on the Chargers injury report, but the defense has three listed as questionable for Monday. Defensive linemen Sebastian Joseph-Day (illness), linebackers Kenneth Murray (shoulder), and Eric Kendricks (ribs) all missed practice time this week. Joseph-Day was added to the injury report for the first time on Saturday.

The Chargers listed wide receiver Jalen Guyton and defensive lineman Otito Ogbonnia as questionable to make their season debuts. Both players are on the PUP list as they recover from knee injuries and have to be elevated to the 53-man roster by next week.

The Jets placed two offensive linemen, Connor McGovern (knee) and Wes Schweitzer (calf), on injured reserve earlier this week. The team will not see the return of starting offensive tackle Duane Brown, who has been out for five straight games with hip and shoulder injuries. Brown is on injured reserve and was a full participant at practice all week.

Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard (knee) and safety Adrian Amos (ankle) are listed as questionable for the game after appearing on the injury report for the first time on Saturday. Linebacker Chazz Surratt will miss the game after being ruled out with an ankle injury.
