A legendary career in the NFL came to an end for Tom Brady after the 2022 season. Since then, he’s pursued a number of different avenues. From an ownership stake with the Las Vegas Raiders to joining the FOX broadcast team, he’s tried to remain connected to the sport.
However, he’s also explored other routes, with his latest coming in the form of what seems to involve the WWE. After getting into it with Logan Paul, though, a lot of people are starting to criticize the seven-time Super Bowl champion for things that seem beneath him.
Tom Brady Isn’t Helping His Image With Logan Paul Interactions
During the recent Fanatics Fest in New York, Brady was one of the biggest participants. From interviews to live podcasts, he was heavily featured in the entire four-day extravaganza.
However, one of the most talked about moments from those interactions became his tussle with Paul. A social media content creator and podcast host, Paul has also been a full-time WWE employee over the last few years.
As a result, the interaction between the two, which even turned physical, drew speculation that it could culminate in a match for the wrestling promotion. Unfortunately, the bizarre pathways from Brady are even turning his staunchest supporters against him.
On the “98.5 Sports Hub,” Michael Felger laid into Brady for these recent interactions. The veteran host, who’s built one of the biggest radio brands in all of Boston, was appalled by the behavior he had seen. As a result, he got into the most prevalent theory about them.

“So, I’ve heard people surmise that he’s [Brady] doing this because he craves the spotlight,” Felger said. “He doesn’t want to fade away. He always wants to be in the headlines, wants to be in the mix. His ego. He hasn’t been able to put aside the competitiveness that he had as a player.”
Going a step further, he believed that affliction had now taken over his private life as well. But Felger had a different point altogether. He believed the change in direction for the Patriots icon came from one simple source: money.

“And so now he’s taken it into his private life. I think you’re missing the mark there, folks. He wants the payday. He wants cash. And it’s ironic because as a player, he did not carry himself like this at all.”
During his NFL career, which spanned over two decades, Brady became a hallmark for giving his team financial flexibility. Signing for much less than the maximum that was available to him, it allowed the organization to build stronger rosters around him.
“He left money on the table and did not go after every crumb,” Felger added. “But since he’s retired, it’s been just the opposite. I mean, he will sell anything, stand up and do anything.”
Felger’s comments are very serious, but given Brady’s trajectory in recent months, the shock from the veteran host isn’t unwarranted.
It remains to be seen if there is genuine passion from the legendary quarterback in these avenues, or if they’re just a by-product of his greed, as Felger alleged.
