The final weekend of the 2026 NFL preseason is here, and Friday delivers the busiest night of it. Ten games are on tonight’s schedule, the largest single-day slate of Week 3, as teams take their last extended look at roster bubble players before final cuts.
Thursday already saw the New England Patriots close out their preseason on the road against the Cleveland Browns, and Saturday will wrap the whole exhibition slate.

NFL Games Today: Are There Any Week 3 Preseason Games on Friday?
Yes. Ten games kick off tonight, Friday, August 28, starting at 6 p.m. ET and running until Minnesota and Denver wrap things up at 9 p.m. ET
The headline matchup is Cincinnati at Philadelphia, the lone national broadcast of the night, airing on CBS. Every other game tonight is available through local affiliates or the NFL Network.

NFL Network carries six games across the weekend, the most of any single outlet. Out-of-market and local coverage is available through NFL+ on mobile and tablet devices, subject to local blackout restrictions.
Carolina and Arizona both appear again this weekend, each playing their fourth and final preseason game after opening the summer against each other in the Hall of Fame Game back on August 6.
Every other team is playing its third and last tune-up before the regular season opens Wednesday, September 9, when the Patriots visit the Seattle Seahawks in a rematch of Super Bowl LX.
Rosters must be trimmed to 53 players by Sunday, August 30, at 6 p.m. ET, a deadline moved up from the league’s traditional Tuesday cutdown, which means tonight’s games carry real stakes for players fighting for a spot.
