The Halftime show for the Super Bowl is usually an honour reserved for the biggest stars on the planet. With the hype that the moment has, it typically leads to a lot of fan speculation about who the performer in any particular year could be. This year, too, was no exception, as fans wondered who would be the headliner when Super Bowl 60 aired from Levi’s Stadium in San Francisco.
With an announcement scheduled at halftime of the highly anticipated Week 4 clash between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys, rumors about Puerto Rican superstar and pop culture icon Bad Bunny being the performer started making the rounds. Unfortunately, fans weren’t on board with the idea, immediately rejecting it.
Fans Aren’t Feeling Bad Bunny as Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show Performer
First rising to prominence in 2016, Bunny has solidified himself as the king of Latin rap, as he’s been the driving force behind making Spanish-language rap music a global sensation.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest Latin rappers of all time, he has three Grammy Awards and 11 Latin Grammy Awards to his name. Successful both commercially and critically, he has become one of the most popular stars of the music world.
However, for the football fan base, he wasn’t what they had in mind for the event. Amidst an outcry of rejection, some fans went the harsh route. As one claimed, “Will be on mute,” another was already ready to predict how things would go down.
Yea we not watching that

He prophesied, “THIS HALFTIME SHOW IS GOING TO BE SO F***ING DOGS**T! BAD BUNNY??? SERIOUSLY???” For some, though, a bigger problem wasn’t who was performing, but rather who wasn’t.
I’m turning it off at halftime then

“Over Taylor Swift is insane,” one fan commented. Swift being the one to perform at Super Bowl 60 was apparently a real possibility until the NFL couldn’t agree to all of her demands for the performance.
Unfortunately, most fans weren’t on board with Bunny being the performer at Super Bowl 60, with one fan stating, “The falloff of Super Bowl halftime shows needs to be studied.”

Another one turned to the rude route, claiming, “I’m turning it off at halftime then,” as one fan tried to start a trend with the hashtag, “NotMySuperBowlPerformer.”
After Kendrick Lamar last year was a polarizing performer across the fan base, the NFL may have been hoping for a warmer reception to its choice this season. But, it doesn’t look like most fans are going to be open to the idea of Bunny rocking the stage at Levi’s Stadium.

Worst decision ever . The NFL is turning into pure money .
No one should watch !
It seems to be worse every year.
Maybe they will add drag queens for the pre game.
Dang, that’s actually a great idea! hadn’t thought about a drag queen halftime show!!!! Hope we get that next for sure!
Why? Another Commissioner payday, THE NFL WILL DO ANYTHING TO MAKE THERE BIG EXTRA MONEY. Even if it ruins the family Sunday.
This will be the 5th Halftime show in a row that I’ve skipped.
Disgusting. We don’t wanna watch that thing and it definitely won’t be family friendly. 🖕you nfl
