2022 NFL Draft News: Isaiah Weston draws NFL interest from Bengals and Saints

Weston (6’3 1/2″, 214 pounds) combines size, speed, and proven production.

He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.42 seconds with a 40-inch vertical leap and bench pressed 225 pounds 20 times at the NFL Scouting Combine. Additionally, he recorded an 11’3″ broad jump.

Weston was invited to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl and the Hula Bowl. He caught 37 passes for 883 yards and 5 touchdowns last season, including 5 catches for 181 yards against North Dakota State.

He led all FCS schools in yards per catch last season. In 2019, he caught 43 passes for 1,053 yards and 10 touchdowns and was named second-team All-American.

As a redshirt freshman, he caught 22 passes for 380 yards and 5 scores before missing the 2018 season due to a knee injury. In high school, he was an all-state selection.

“It doesn’t matter where you are from, small school, DI, DII, DIII,” Weston said during his pro day. “It doesn’t matter where you start, it’s where you finish. We can play with those guys.”
