Amare Thomas is a mid-level sleeper WR prospect with early-round upside and verifiable production. Thomas originally began his collegiate career at UAB as a three-star recruit, and made an immediate impact, catching 53 passes for 437 yards and 3 touchdowns in his first season. As a true sophomore, he upped the ante with 62 catches for 670 yards and 8 scores, and leveraged that production into an opportunity at Houston.

In his first season against Big 12 competition, Thomas flourished once again, amassing 966 yards and 12 scores on 67 catches. Thomas earned first-team All-Big 12 recognition in the process, and put up a solid PFN WR Impact grade of 79.8, while also achieving 2.7 yards per route run, 7.4 yards of RAC per reception, 0.38 EPA per target, and a meager 3.4% drop rate, at a target share of over 26%. Immediately upon his arrival, the Cougars' offense flowed through Thomas, and the film backs up the numbers: Thomas is a venerable, dynamic three-level threat, with a strong all-around profile and a clear NFL projection.

Yhonzae Pierre is a scheme-specific EDGE prospect with early-round upside in the 2027 NFL Draft. A highly-touted five-star recruit, Pierre redshirted with the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2023 and played sparingly in 2024, but broke out in 2025 with 8 sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss. Along the way, he achieved a PFN EDGE Impact grade of 77.9, as well as a strong pressure rate of 18%.

That early-career production was enough to earn Power Four interest in the transfer portal, and he'd soon commit to Wake Forest. That production has led him to his third destination: The vaunted Texas Tech Raiders defense.

Clev Lubin is a potential early-round EDGE prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, with a particular affinity for rushing the passer. A star running back and defensive end in high school, Lubin progressed from the US Military Academy Prep School to Army in 2022, but would ultimately transfer out after a year on the bench. In 2025, Lubin completed his collegiate circuit, landing at Power 4 program Louisville, and again recorded standout numbers, among them 8.5 sacks, 13 TFLs, 3 forced fumbles, 5 pass breakups, and an 87.5 PFN EDGE Impact score that ranked third in the entire nation. On the rush, Lubin achieved an absurd 22.2% pressure rate, with a 17.6% true dropback pressure rate.

CJ Carr is a potential early-round QB prospect who could ascend into the Round 1 conversation with another year of development. A high-end four-star recruit from Michigan, Carr committed to Notre Dame out of high school and redshirted his first season. In 2025, Carr won the starting QB job for the Fighting Irish as a mere redshirt freshman, and threw for 2,741 yards, 24 touchdowns, and just 6 interceptions on 66.6% completion.

His 85.9 PFN QB Impact score was Top 25 overall in the nation, and other metrics also reflected well on his early performance, among them a 0.53 EPA per clean dropback figure, and a 0.46 EPA per play in two-minute situations. At 6'2", 215 pounds, Carr falls within the prototypical framework, and has great natural arm talent. He can generate velocity with relative ease and has the high-level arm elasticity to layer the ball and adjust arm angles without strain.

Drake Lindsey is an up-and-coming young QB prospect with distant, but very real early-round NFL Draft upside. Lindsey originally joined the Golden Gophers as a three-star recruit in 2024, but won the starting QB job as a redshirt freshman in 2025 and led his team to a 8-5 record in 13 starts, as well as a bowl victory. He turned in a respectable PFN QB Impact score of 77.8, and his 0.5 EPA per dropback in close-game scenarios was 15th among passers with at least 10 starts.

The sample is small, and there are still areas in which Lindsey can improve, to be sure. Most notably, segmented footwork can impact his shoulder alignment and in turn his situational precision, and creation in the face of pressure simply isn't a sizable part of his game; he can be late to sense interior rushing threats, and he's not explosive or fleet-of-foot on the escape. Nevertheless, at 6'5", 230 pounds, Lindsey perfectly fits the profile of the old-school, big-armed pocket passer.

Matayo Uiagalelei is a potential early-round EDGE prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, who brings size, power, and pass-rush production to the fold. A highly-touted four-star recruit out with two-way abilities coming out of high school, Uiagalelei signed with the Oregon Ducks and made an immediate impact as a full-time EDGE in 2023. Nick Marsh is a potential early-round WR prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, who joins Charlie Becker as a top-flight talent in a dynamic Indiana offense. A four-star recruit out of high school, Marsh signed with Michigan State and made an immediate impact in a light depth chart, accruing 41 catches for 649 yards and three touchdowns as a true freshman. As a true sophomore, he was the favorite target of emergent star QB Drew Mestemaker, and in the process emerged as a star himself.

Across 14 games, Young amassed 1,264 yards and 10 touchdowns on 70 catches, and added an 11th score on the ground. LJ Martin is one of the top returning RB prospects after a 2026 NFL Draft cycle in which he could have declared. A former four-star recruit, Martin joined the BYU Cougars in 2023 and immediately made an impact as a true freshman, eclipsing 500 yards at almost 5 yards per clip. The 2024 season saw Martin increase his output, but the 2025 campaign was his best yet.

Iapani Laloulu is an experienced center prospect with a high floor but potential schematic limitations. He left high school as a four-star guard recruit, and played in 14 games as a true freshman for the Ducks, splitting over 400 reps almost evenly between left guard, right guard, and center. In 2024, he started the first two games at guard before kicking inside to center, where he thrived and earned honorable mention All-Big Ten recognition.

In 2025, Laloulu started all 15 games at the fulcrum, fielding first-team All-American and second-team All-Big Ten honors, while putting up a solid PFN OL Impact score of 83.4. Laloulu mulled over declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft, but ultimately returned to join Oregon's bid for a National Championship. Saka retained his prevalent rotational role in 2024, and in 2025, he started 11 games for the Wildcats, logging 3 sacks, 4 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. While his 70.8 PFN EDGE Impact score was below-average, Saka's advanced metrics provided some reason for optimism. In spite of his limited sack production, he achieved a strong pressure rate of 13.8%, as well as a true dropback pressure rate over 10%.

Bear Alexander is an embattled but uber-talented DT prospect who appears to be reaching his potential late in his collegiate career. Famously, Alexander went to four different high schools in four seasons. That tumultuous path continued in college; he excelled as a true freshman at Georgia, but transferred to USC after one season.

And after one year and one redshirt at USC, he'd transfer to Oregon in 2025. With the Ducks, Alexander has found valuable stability, and it paid off with his best year yet in 2025. Working alongside A'Mauri Washington in Dan Lanning's defense, Alexander racked up 50 tackles, a career-high 6.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and a solid PFN DT Impact score of 77.6.

A.J. Holmes Jr. is a mid-round DT prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, who possesses early-round upside with another productive season.

Holmes, originally a three-star recruit, spent three seasons at Houston, performing as a regular rotational contributor in 2023 and a full-time starter in 2024. Over that two-year span, Holmes amassed 4.5 sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss, leveraging that play into an opportunity with the Texas Tech Red Raiders in 2025. Playing for Joey McGuire as a redshirt junior, Holmes took home first-team All-American and second-team All-Big 12 honors in a career-best campaign, accumulating 4.5 sacks, 9 TFLs, 4 pass breakups, 2 fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, and a PFN DT Impact score of 84.3 that ranked 10th in the entire nation.

Whit Weeks is a storied SEC LB prospect with early-round potential if he can stay healthy. Weeks originally joined the LSU Tigers as a four-star recruit, and started three of 11 games played as a true freshman in 2023. After flashing early in his career, he became a full-time starter as just a true sophomore and put up 125 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, an interception, three pass breakups, and two forced fumbles, in a campaign that earned him first-team All-SEC honors and amounted to an 8th-place PFN LB Impact of 88.4.

The 2025 season was heavily anticipated for Weeks, but a combined broken fibula and Talus bone fracture limited him to eight injury-impacted appearances. Weeks had surgery to repair his ankle in January of 2026, but the 2026 campaign will tell the tale on his readiness. If Weeks is indeed back to 100%, he has the ability to be one of the first LBs selected in the 2027 NFL Draft.

Chris Corbo is an FCS-to-FBS transfer who quietly has early-round upside with a strong year at the highest level. Through 2024 and 2025, Corbo was one of the best tight ends in the FCS, after first redshirting at Dartmouth in 2022 and playing a rotational role in 2023. In 2024, Corbo fielded a career-high seven touchdowns, and in 2025, he achieved career-highs in both receptions (45) and receiving yards (516), while finding the end zone four times.

Corbo was one of just four FCS TEs to eclipse 500 yards in 2025, and he came away with the league's highest PFN TE Impact grade, with an incredible score of 99. Alongside that glowing grade, he achieved 2.24 yards per route run, a 12.28% catch rate over expectation, a meager 3.4% drop rate, and an average of 5.2 RAC yards per catch. Corbo's transition to the Power 4 level and sustained production will be key, but on film, Corbo's upside is difficult to ignore.

Evan Tengesdahl is a potential early-round guard prospect whose heavy-handed style and punishing physicality is sure to earn the allure of NFL scouts. Ranked as a three-star center recruit by most outlets coming out of high school, Tengesdahl redshirted his first season with the Bearcats, then played in 11 games as a depth blocker in 2024. In 2025, Tengesdahl emerged as a legitimate high-level starter on Cincinnati's front, starting all 13 games at left guard and earning All-American recognition, while achieving a near-elite PFN OL Impact grade of 88.6.

Along the way, Tengesdahl allowed a mere 4.6% pressure rate, and distinguished himself as one of the best run blockers in the nation. At around 6'3", 325 pounds, Tengesdahl is built to dominate on the interior. He carries his weight with impressive efficiency, but is nonetheless a wide-set, well-leveraged blocker who packs a punch at contact with his elite hand power, extension force, and rotational torque on finishes.

Sammy Brown is a contender for the LB1 mantle in the 2027 NFL Draft. He was a five-star recruit in high school, who distinguished himself as a two-way star in football, while also running a 10.7 100-meter dash and claiming back-to-back Georgia state wrestling titles. Upon arriving at Clemson, he was an immediate defensive contributor.

Starting six of 14 games played, he racked up 11.5 tackles for loss and 5 sacks, winning ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year honors. In 2025, he upped the ante, earning first-team All-ACC recognition while putting up 106 tackles, 13.5 TFLs, 5 sacks, an interception, and 5 pass breakups. His PFN LB Impact of 83.2 was 13th-highest in the nation, featuring a blitz pressure percentage of 15.9% and a missed tackle rate of just 6%.

Trinidad Chambliss has been a revelation for the Ole Miss Rebels, after leading the Ferris State Bulldogs to a Division II National Championship and earning a spot as a Harlon Hill Trophy finalist in 2024. In 2025, Chambliss was a key catalyst in the Rebels reaching the CFB Playoff semifinals, even after the loss of head coach Lane Kiffin, and he's one of the few QBs who came away with an elite PFN QB Impact grade over 90 on the season. At around 6'1", 200 pounds, Chambliss is average-sized at best, with middling arm strength, but he nonetheless proves more than competent as a prospect with his athleticism, hyper-elite creative instincts, arm elasticity, quick coverage discernment, and anticipation in the short and intermediate ranges.

Chambliss is a capable quick-game and RPO operator with good pre-snap and post-snap reasoning, reliable decision making, solid over-arching accuracy, and the quiet toughness and resolve to stand in, adapt, and slide through pocket corridors when working against pressure. Chambliss generated a strong EPA per clean dropback figure of 0.49 in 2025, and he was also one of a select few QBs to generate a positive EPA per pressured dropback. Two cosmetic factors, Chambliss' size and his age, may work against him in the 2027 NFL Draft cycle.

Braelin Moore is undersized, but nevertheless presents as one of the more compelling early-round sleepers at the center position. Moore preserved his redshirt as a three-star recruit at Virginia Tech in 2022, then started 12 games at left guard as a redshirt freshman. In 2024, he kicked inside to center, and played well enough to earn the interest of the LSU Tigers.

At LSU, Moore's ascent continued; he started all 12 games and logged a strong PFN OL Impact grade of 84.9, a figure that ranked 17th among all qualifying centers. Particularly in pass protection, Moore proved himself to be near-elite, as he allowed just five pressures on true dropbacks for a rate of 2.1%, and only one sack total on the year. At 6'2", 301 pounds, Moore has below-average height and only average mass, to go along with sub-standard proportional length.

Isaac Brown is a potential early-round RB prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, who offers dynamic big-play propensity and potential return value. Brown first joined the Cardinals as a three-star recruit in the 2024 cycle, and immediately broke out as a true freshman. That year, Brown amassed 1,173 yards and 11 touchdowns on 165 carries, averaging over 7 yards per carry while earning a strong 84.6 PFN RB Impact score.

In 2025, Brown missed several games due to a lower body injury, but still put up 884 yards and 7 scores on only 101 carries, and was able to return to action for the team's bowl game. At 5'9", 190 pounds, Brown is below-average size, and doesn't have an overbearing physicality element, but his superpower is his combination of speed, quickness, flexibility, and overall dynamism. With lightning-quick foot speed, instant upfield acceleration, wicked strider speed, and the cutting flexibility and bend to sustain acceleration through sharp transitions, Brown has an elusive framework and big-play affinity that's nearly unmatched in the 2027 class.

Junior Sherrill is a mid-round WR prospect with early-round upside in the 2027 NFL Draft. He originally joined the Vanderbilt Commodores as a three-star recruit, but made an instant impact as a rotational pass-catcher as a true freshman in 2023, hauling in 20 passes for 293 yards and 3 scores. Each year since then, Sherrill has steadily increased his output.

2025 was his best season yet; as one of Diego Pavia's primary targets, Sherrill accumulated 784 yards and 7 touchdowns on 54 catches, earning a PFN WR Impact score of 77.9. Though he'll aim to cut down a 6.3% drop rate in the action yet to come, Sherrill did register an 11% catch rate over expectation, and generated almost 6 yards of RAC per reception. Archetypally, Sherrill is one of the more well-rounded three-level threats in the 2027 WR class.

Kayin Lee is an SEC veteran who's built within a polarizing archetype, but nonetheless has early-round upside at his maximum. A four-star recruit in the 2023 cycle, Lee signed with Auburn and immediately made an impression as a true freshman, starting four of 13 games played and notching 6 pass deflections. In 2024, Lee became a full-time starter and earned career-highs in both interceptions (2) and pass breakups (7), while eclipsing a PFN CB Impact grade of 80.

Though Lee's raw on-ball production dipped in 2025, he secured a career-best PFN CB Impact grade of 80.9. Additionally, he allowed no touchdowns in coverage, just 0.8 yards per coverage snap, as well as a meager QB rating of 60.4. With 25 career starts in three years and two 80-plus Impact seasons, Lee has a production profile that will be enticing for NFL teams, and the film also provides reason for optimism.

Samson Okunlola is a high-upside interior OL prospect with early-round potential in the 2027 NFL Draft. A five-star recruit, Okunlola joined up with the Miami Hurricanes in 2023, redshirting his first season before entering the fold as a key rotational blocker in 2024. In 2025, Okunlola reprised that role, playing in all 16 games with one start against Ohio State in the CFB Playoffs.

While veterans Anez Cooper and Matthew McCoy took the higher volume of snaps, Okunlola made an impression in his limited 2025 action, and will have a chance to start full-time in 2026 and catalyze his NFL Draft stock. At around 6'6", 330 pounds, Okunlola is a lab-built colossus with elite height, mass, and length, as well as volcanic explosiveness, rare size-adjusted short-area quickness, and blazing range working in space or to the second level. With his combined size, explosion, length, and lower-body power, Okunlola can unleash devastating amounts of displacement force off the line, plowing interior defenders 5-10 yards down the field on power reps.

Jamari Sharpe is a mid-round CB prospect who should be a coveted player particularly for zone-heavy NFL schemes. In high school, Sharpe played wide receiver and defensive back, and also excelled in track with an 100-meter dash time of 10.69. A three-star recruit, he joined the Indiana Hoosiers in 2022 and preserved his redshirt in his first season, before starting nine games as a redshirt freshman.

Upon Curt Cignetti's arrival, Sharpe saw his starting reps reduced, but in 2025, he rebounded and started all 16 games, serving as a central piece on Indiana's Championship-winning defense. Sharpe logged 50 tackles, six tackles for loss, an interception, six pass breakups, and four forced fumbles, and delivered the Hoosiers their first Championship with a game-sealing INT. Sharpe's clutch play was rivaled only by his efficiency; he earned a strong PFN CB Impact grade of 81.4, registered a 11.4% forced incompletion rate, and missed just 2% of his tackles.

Antwan Raymond is a mid-round RB prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft who has exciting high-value volume potential. A three-star recruit originally, Raymond joined the Rutgers Scarlet Knights at the peak of the Kyle Monangai era. And after spending his true freshman season spelling Monangai and sharing short-yardage duties, Raymond filled Monangai's shoes as the full-time starter in 2025, with impressive results.

In just 12 games, Raymond amassed 1,241 yards and 13 touchdowns on 244 carries, averaging over 5 yards per attempt. Additionally, he logged 225 yards and 2 scores on 18 receptions, and took home a composite PFN RB Impact score of 92.2 that ranked fifth in the entire nation. On top of the elite Impact number, Raymond also forced the fifth-most missed tackles in the FBS.

John Henry Daley is a mid-round EDGE prospect with early-round upside and scheme-specific appeal as a pass-rush specialist. As a senior in high school, Daley racked up 22 sacks, on the way to earning a three-star recruit billing. Upon signing with BYU, he partook in a two-year mission in Brazil, then returned in 2023.

After just one year with the Cougars, Daley transferred to Utah, where he blossomed under Kyle Whittingham's tutelage. In 2025, Daley exploded onto the scene as one of college football's best sack artists, accumulating 11.5 quarterback takedowns, 17.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, and a pass breakup. In the process, Daley earned All-American recognition, was a Bednarik Award semifinalist, and took home a near-elite PFN EDGE Impact score of 89.0, with a strong pressure rate of 17.7%.

Eric Singleton Jr. is a potential early-round WR prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft. Though Singleton was only a three-star recruit, he accounted for almost 25% of Georgia Tech's receiving volume as a true freshman, while reaching the end zone six times.

He achieved a career-high 754 receiving yards in 2024, but transferred to Auburn in hopes of catalyzing an NFL ascent in 2025. Instead, poor QB play hampered his production, and he again transferred in 2026, this time to Florida. Set to be a four-year starter, there's a sense Singleton has left production on the table in spite of his early breakout, but he nonetheless has a compelling NFL Draft profile as it stands.

Ryan Coleman-Williams was a freshman phenom in 2024, who now enters his first year of NFL Draft eligibility with very real early-round aspirations, but also more left to prove. A five-star recruit who elicited comparisons to former Alabama great DeVonta Smith out of high school, Coleman-Williams joined the Crimson Tide and became an instant star, amassing 865 yards and 8 touchdowns on 48 catches, while also accruing 2.69 yards per route run. In 2025, expectations were high for Coleman-Williams, but a hard hit in Week 1 gave him a concussion and seemed to set the tone for what was an up-and-down sophomore campaign.

Coleman-Williams battled injuries and rarely looked comfortable, and the result was a downturn in production and PFN WR Impact efficiency, as well as a staggering 13.6% drop rate. The hope is that Coleman-Williams' 2025 campaign was an aberration, but even so, the former five-star has work to do before any Round 1 aspirations can become a reality. There is this we can say about Coleman-Williams: He's immensely talented.

Chris Cole is a potential early-round prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, who follows a promising pedigree of Georgia LBs. In high school, Cole was a standout football player and track athlete. He joined the Georgia Bulldogs as a five-star commit in 2024, and played in 14 games as a true freshman, primarily on special teams.

In 2025, Cole entered the full-time rotation, starting one of 14 games played while accruing 59 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and two pass deflections. At around 6'3", 235 pounds, the still 20-year old Cole is a pure physical specimen, with impressive length, lean mass, and a rare type of long-strider range that chews up ground from sideline to sideline. When Cole has the space to open his gait, he can cover massive swaths of ground and run down ball carriers, but he also has the athleticism and physical build to operate in the box.

Trey'Dez Green is a pass-down TE with dynamic receiving upside but also projection questions to answer. He was a two-sport star in high school, who averaged 27 points and 11 rebounds on the basketball court as a junior. Football would end up being his primary focus, however, and he signed with the LSU Tigers in 2024 as a four-star recruit.

He played in 11 games as a true freshman and found the endzone 4 times, and compounded the momentum in a 2025 campaign that saw him rack up 33 catches for 433 yards and 7 touchdowns, along with a commendable PFN TE Impact score of 79.2. He made a particularly strong impact in the red zone, where he fielded an astounding 34.6% target percentage on routes run. At a towering 6'7", 237 pounds, Green is long and lean, with a domineering wingspan and catch radius.

Andrew Rappleyea is an under-the-radar TE prospect with little production, but enticing talent that projects well over a larger sample size. Rappleyea joined the Penn State Nittany Lions as a four-star recruit in the 2023 cycle, but didn't catch a pass through his first two seasons. He redshirted in 2023 and missed all but one game due to a knee injury in 2024.

In 2025, he was part of a deep rotation, but received more opportunities later in the year, and ended up with 20 catches for 180 yards and 3 touchdowns. For a fourth-year player, the sample size is still extremely small for Rappleyea, but he's quietly produced inspiring film to this point, particularly as an athlete, a blocker, and a route runner. At around 6'4", 251 pounds, Rappleyea is well-built, with good frame density and compact mass, and at that size, he's a quantifiably elite athlete with propulsive fast-striding explosion, abrupt short-area twitch and corrective quickness, and the hip flexibility to sink and redirect at tight angles on route stems.

T.J. Moore is a potential early-round WR prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft. Moore originally joined the Clemson Tigers as a prized five-star recruit in the 2024 cycle.

For Dabo Swinney and the Tigers' staff, the goal was clear: To add a WR within the archetype of Tee Higgins and Justyn Ross, and Moore spent little time standing on ceremony before he produced. As a true freshman, Moore hauled in 45 catches for 651 yards and 5 touchdowns. As a sophomore in 2025, he upped the ante, racking up 52 receptions for 837 yards and 4 touchdowns, leading his team in yardage output, as well as securing a respectable PFN WR Impact score of 77.7.

Ahmad Hardy is a potential early-round RB prospect with one of the most dominant production profiles in college football. Hardy suffered a gunshot wound to the upper leg at a concert in mid-May and underwent successful surgery, and his current recovery timeline is unknown. If Hardy can return to 100% for the 2026 season, he stands to contend for high-end capital, but the same can be said if the recovery timeline is extended and forces him to wait until 2028.

Hardy began his career as a three-star signee at UL Monroe, and dominated as a true freshman, amassing 1,351 yards and 13 touchdowns. In 2025, he transferred to Missouri and picked up where he left off against SEC competition, accumulating 1,649 yards and 16 scores on 6.4 yards per attempt. Hardy's 91.3 RB Impact score was sixth-best in the entire nation, and his yards after contact figure of 4.59 was best in the nation among RBs with at least 200 attempts.

Brandon Baker is a position-diverse OL prospect who projects best at guard as an NFL talent. He was a four-star and Top 50 national recruit coming out of high school, who played in eight games as a reserve lineman for the Longhorns as a true freshman in 2024. In 2025, Baker succeeded Cameron Williams at right tackle and started in 11 games, producing a PFN OL Impact score of 77.8.

A classic "bend, don't break" lineman, 65.2% of Baker's 23 pressures allowed were long dropback pressures, and he never allowed a sack. However, some would-be sacks were no doubt negated by tugs and grabs that resulted in penalties; Baker saw 20 yellow flags come his way in 2025, a number that needs to decrease in 2026. Baker's move inside from tackle to guard should help, as he'll no longer be on an island, and guard is a position that has always suited him best.

Anthony Smith is a potential early-round EDGE prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft. Smith joined the Golden Gophers as a four-star recruit, and after preserving his redshirt in 2022, he began to see more reps in the team's defensive line rotation. In 2024, Smith emerged as a full-time starter and caught eyes with his production, accruing 6 sacks and 11.5 tackles for loss across 13 games.

In 2025, Smith reprised that role, stacking up 17.5 TFLs and a Big Ten-leading 12.5 sacks. Smith's PFN EDGE Impact grade of 78.5 stood out as above-average, and he earned a pressure rate of 11.4%, while allowing just 1.41 yards per run stop. At 6'6", 285 pounds, Smith certainly passes the eye test.

Peter Clarke is a potential early-round TE prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, who offers an appealing combination of receiving and blocking utility. Clarke grew up in London, England, and gained interest through the NFL Academy overseas. Earning a three-star recruit billing, Clarke signed with the Temple Owls, where he combined for just five catches over his first two seasons.

In 2025, however, Clarke broke out as an impactful two-phase playmaker, amassing 30 catches for 483 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games. His 82.4 TE Impact score was Top 10 in the nation, and pairing together a 2.4% drop rate, an 8.8% catch rate over expectation, and a 42.9% target rate in the red zone, Clarke distinguished himself as a dangerous weapon in scoring territory, while also reaching 2.34 yards per route run overall. At around 6'6", 265 pounds, Clarke is thickly built, with excellent mass and frame density, and while his length is below average proportionally, his sheer size and play strength make him a venerable presence in multiple phases.

Cole Sullivan is a riser candidate in the 2027 NFL Draft class with early-round potential. Though he originally joined the Michigan Wolverines as a mere three-star recruit, his high-level raw talent was put on full display down the stretch in the 2025 campaign. Starting three of 11 games played, Sullivan racked up 44 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, and 3 interceptions, before transferring to Oklahoma and joining Brent Venables' unit.

Having never played a full season as a full-time starter, Sullivan is clearly young and still tracking toward his ceiling, but the early returns have been extremely promising, and Venables' scheme can serve as a catalyst for his development. At 6'4", 230 pounds, Sullivan has an impressive frame, with rock-solid proportions and understated lean mass. He's a tantalizing physical talent with brisk explosiveness, springy lateral burst and correction, and swarming full-field range on the chase.

Tre Richardson is a mid-round WR prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft with the potential to be a riser in his final season. In four years, Richardson has played for four schools. Coming out of high school, he originally committed to New Mexico State, but later pivoted to Hutchinson Community College as an option closer to home.

In one year at Hutchinson, Richardson scored 8 touchdowns, logged over 1,330 all-purpose yards, and earned first-team NJCAA honors as a return specialist. Another productive season at Washburn in 2024 earned Richardson his transfer opportunity with Vanderbilt in 2025, and he aced that test, too: In 12 games, he logged 46 catches for 806 yards and 7 TDs, while earning a strong 80.5 PFN WR Impact figure. Now at Louisville, Richardson hasn't yet found stability, but has ironically been an ever-consistent big-play threat at every one of his collegiate stops.

Adam Trick is a mid-round EDGE prospect with early-round potential in the 2027 NFL Draft, if he can make effectively make transition from the MAC to the Power 4. Trick began his career as a three-star off-ball linebacker recruit in 2022, and redshirted in 2022 before serving primarily as a special teamer in 2023. In 2024, Trick made the swich to the edge and showed promise in a rotational role, racking up 4.5 sacks and 5.5 tackles for loss.

In 2025, he broke out as an elite producer at the lower-conference level. He amassed 8.5 sacks, 12.5 TFLs, an interception, four pass breakups, and three forced fumbles, as well as an incredible PFN DL Impact score of 96.4 and a strong pressure rate of 17.4%. Now having transferred to Texas Tech, Trick's stock could be catapulted on a defensive line that was one of the best in the nation in 2025.

PJ Williams is a mid-round OT prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft with early-round upside. Williams began his collegiate career as a highly-regarded four-star recruit at Texas A&M in 2022. However, a suspension and an arrest for marijuana possession marred his early career, and he'd transfer to SMU after just one season with the Aggies.

With the Mustangs, Williams began to remake himself. He started four of 12 games played in 2023, then started 14 games in 2024, three at right tackle and 11 at left tackle. In 2025, Williams earned the title of team captain, and started 13 more games, primarily at right tackle.

Jacarrius Peak is a potential early-round OT prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, with projected flexibility between tackle and guard. A high school state runner-up in the shot put, who also played at OT and OG in his early days, Peak committed to the NC State Wolfpack as a four-star recruit in 2022, and redshirted his first season. As a redshirt freshman, Peak started the final six games at right tackle, and carried that role through the entire 2024 campaign.

In 2025, Peak shifted to left tackle, and delivered his best season yet. Peak earned a glowing PFN OL Impact score of 87.2 and earned honorable mention All-ACC recognition. On true dropbacks, Peak allowed a pressure rate of just 3.1%, and he let by just three sacks on the year.

Lance Heard is following a familiar path up the board in the 2027 NFL Draft cycle. His predecessor at tackle for the Tennessee Volunteers -- Darnell Wright -- was a five-star recruit who embarked on a rapid ascent in his final year, earning Round 1 capital. Heard still has much to work on before he comes close to going that high, but the high-level natural talent is there for the former LSU and Tennessee transfer, and at Kentucky, he'll have a chance to reset and put his best foot forward for his final season.

In 2025, Heard served as a full-time starter for Josh Heupel's squad at left tackle, and though his PFN OL Impact score of 71.4 was relatively low, Heard still allowed pressure on just 7.8% of his true dropbacks. The 6'6", 325-pound behemoth has some of the most overwhelming raw power capacity and torque in the class, and he can bury defenders 1-on-1 with his length and violent extensions. For his size, he also has eye-catching on-attack explosiveness, and he's not just a raw physical talent, either.

Raleek Brown is a mid-round RB prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, with early-round potential at his maximum. A highly-touted four-star recruit out of high school, Brown signed with the USC Trojans and served as a rotational catalyst as a true freshman. Receptions accounted for over 27% of his total touches in his first season, and the Trojans experimented with moving him to WR in Year 2, but he ultimately took a redshirt, and later transferred to Arizona State.

An injury limited Brown to two games in 2024, but in 2025, he exploded onto the scene as a star for the Sun Devils, accumulating 1,141 yards and 4 touchdowns on 186 carries, while also hauling in 34 receptions for 239 yards and 2 scores. His 86.6 PFN RB Impact was ranked 13th in the nation, and he put up a strong elusive run rate of 38.2%. At around 5'9", 191 pounds, Brown is shorter and smaller than average, but nonetheless has decent compact mass to pair with hyper-elite linear and lateral explosive athleticism, angle-warping long speed, electric short-area quickness and twitch, and the bend and cutting flexibility to aid in fluid transitions.

Bryant Wesco Jr. is a potential early-round WR prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft. Wesco joined the Clemson Tigers alongside fellow 2027 prospect T.J.

Moore in the 2024 recruiting cycle, as a four-star talent from Texas. As a true freshman, Wesco made an immediate impact, accumulating 708 yards and 5 touchdowns on just 41 receptions. A back injury limited Wesco to just seven games played in 2025, but in that short timespan, he again made a difference, hauling in 31 catches for 537 yards and 6 scores, while holding at over 17 yards per catch.

Niki Prongos is a potential early-round contender at the OT position in the 2027 NFL Draft. Prongos didn't start playing football until his senior year of high school, having previously been a standout in basketball and baseball. As such, he was forced to test the waters as a walk-on at UCLA.

Prongos would soon his stripes, however, starting eight of 10 games played across three seasons at UCLA. He earned a scholarship, and later transferred to Stanford, where he started all 12 games in 2025 and earned a PFN OL Impact grade of 77.9. Prongos allowed six sacks on the year and fielded eight penalties, but also let by an opposing true dropback pressure percentage of just 4.6%.

Teitum Tuioti is a potential early-round EDGE prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, with Round 1 upside at his maximum. Tuioti joined the Ducks as a four-star recruit in 2023 and immediately factored into the defensive rotation, accruing 2 sacks and 4 tackles for loss in a limited role as a true freshman. As a true sophomore, he started all 14 games, stacking up 5.5 sacks and 7.5 TFLs.

And in 2025, Tuitoi had an emergent all-conference campaign, securing third-team All-Big Ten honors while accumulating 9.5 sacks, 16 TFLs, 5 pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles, and a solid PFN EDGE Impact score of 81.9. Alongside that Impact figure, Tuioti also registered a 3.8% TFL rate in run defense, allowed just 1.5 yards per run stop, and generated pressure at a rate of 12.3%. At around 6'3", 263 pounds, with excellent proportional length and a swarming wingspan, Tuioti's build provides a blend of good natural leverage and intrinsic raw power capacity.

Cayden Green is a position-versatile OL prospect with early-round potential. Green played high school football in Missouri as a four-star recruit, but originally comitted to play for the Oklahoma Sooners in college. He played one season at Oklahoma, starting five of 11 games played at guard as a true freshman, before transferring back home to play for the Missouri Tigers.

In 2024, he started all 13 games at LG, before kicking to left tackle for a 2025 campaign in which he earned first-team All-SEC recognition. Green's 2025 PFN OL Impact grade of 89.2 was near-elite, and alongside that figure, he allowed just a 2.4% true dropback pressure rate. At 6'5", 324 pounds, Green has ideal height and mass, to go along with elite proportional length.

Rasheem Biles is a potential early-round LB prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, who offers scheme-specific upside if he can keep adding mass to his frame. As a three-star recruit, Biles joined the Pittsburgh Panthers in 2023, and immediately made an impact as a special teams ace in his true freshman season, blocking three punts. In 2024, Biles entered the full-time starting lineup, and emerged as a third-team All-ACC contributor, racking up 14.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, a pick-six, and nine pass breakups.

In 2025, Biles reprised his role as a defensive standout, this time earning second-team All-ACC recognition while amassing 101 tackles, 17 TFLs, 4.5 sacks, two pick-sixes, four PBUs, and two forced fumbles. In addition to mind-boggling raw production, Biles secured a PFN LB Impact score in 2025 that ranked 6th in the entire nation, and his production earned him a transfer opportunity at the University of Texas. At a lean 6'1", 225 pounds, Biles is assuredly undersized, but he makes up for his lighter frame with excellent explosiveness, swarming sideline-to-sideline range, elite short-area agility and hip fluidity on transitions, and high-level pre-snap and post-snap processing.

Jayden Maiava is an experienced sleeper QB prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft with notable upside, but also notable flaws to address. Maiava first signed with UNLV out of high school as a three-star recruit, and after redshirting in 2022, he started 11 games in 2023, leading his team to a 7-4 record over that stretch while earning Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors. Maiava's early-career production earned him interest in the transfer portal, and he eventually made the move to USC, joining up with Lincoln Riley.

He began the 2024 season as the backup to Miller Moss, but was later elevated to the starting role, and retained that role for the 2025 campaign. In 2025, Maiava achieved career-bests in yardage and touchdown output, while earning third-team All-Big Ten recognition and a PFN QB Impact score of 93.1. Maiava's 0.55 EPA per clean dropback was strong, and he was one of a select few passers to have a positive EPA per dropback under pressure.

Peyton Bowen is a mid-round safety prospect who could crack the Top 100 picks with another year of sustained production. Bowen was a highly-touted four-star recruit in the 2023 cycle, and was a prized signee of Brent Venables. As a true freshman, he played in 13 games with two starts, logging 5 pass breakups while also blocking four total kicks as a special teams standout.

After starting five more games in 2024, Bowen served as a full-time starter in 2025, earning second-team All-SEC honors while racking up 47 tackles, a tackle for loss, 2 interceptions, 7 pass breakups, and a strong PFN Safety Impact score of 82.1. Bowen's experience both as a starter and a special teams contributor will insulate his value at the NFL level, but there's a likely outcome wherein he has a consistent defensive role. At around 5'11", 200 pounds, Bowen has decent size and length, and is a high-level processor with ideal coverage mobility.

Justice Haynes is an RB prospect with early-round upside in the 2027 NFL Draft. He began his career at Alabama, where he arrived as a Top 50 recruit and instantly factored into the rotation. In 2024, he found the end zone 7 times, but ultimately chose to transfer to Michigan for the 2025 season.

While the Wolverines' offense sputtered more often than not, Haynes himself was a bright spot, rumbling for 857 yards and 10 touchdowns on just 121 carries. He averaged over 7 yards per attempt, while achieving a strong PFN RB Impact grade of 80.9. After his breakout campaign, Haynes transferred for a second time, this time to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, where he aims to boost his stock in a run-heavy scheme.

DJ Hicks is a mid-round DT prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft, who has early-round upside with improved production. Recruiting pedigree is on Hicks' side; he was a 5-star talent in the 2023 class, who totaled 45 tackles for loss in his final two high school seasons and earned 13 sacks as a HS junior. Immediately upon joining the Aggies, Hicks entered the interior rotation.

As a true freshman, he put up a sack and 2 TFLs. As a sophomore in 2024, he contributed 1.5 sacks and 2.5 TFLs. And as a junior in 2025, Hicks earned career-highs in all metrics, with 3 sacks, 6.5 TFLs, and a PFN DT Impact score of 75.4.

KJ Duff is a potential early-round WR prospect in the 2027 NFL Draft cycle, with an uncommon size profile and the nuance to match. Playing high school football in New York, Duff left his school as the all-time leader in all receiving categories, and fielded a three-star recruit billing in the 2024 class. Upon signing with Rutgers, Duff made an immediate impression as a true freshman, hauling in 27 receptions for 425 yards and a touchdown.

In 2025, Duff started all 12 games and racked up 60 catches for 1,084 yards and seven TDs, earning second-team All-Big Ten recognition in the process. In additon to his surface-level success, Duff logged a strong 81.2 PFN WR Impact score, 2.7 yards per route run, an incredible 0.92 EPA per target, and a catch rate over expectation of around 17.7%. The advanced metrics are glowing for Duff, particularly at the catch point, and it tracks with what you'd expect from his profile.
