NFL Draft Expert Makes Expectations Clear For Arch Manning
ESPN draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. recently joined Field Yates on the First Draft podcast to discuss the 2027 NFL Draft class and some of the names expected to be at the top of the board.
“They’re loaded around the quarterback; this is boom or bust, national championship or bust. He could emerge, when it’s all said and done, as the number one pick in the draft and certainly the top quarterback,” Kiper said on the show earlier this week.
Last season, Manning threw for 3,164 yards and 26 touchdowns with seven interceptions. He completed 61.4% of his passes and rushed for 399 yards with 10 touchdowns. However, Kiper mentioned a few weaknesses in Manning’s game that he needs to correct before he can be the sure-fire top overall pick. One, of course, is his accuracy.

Manning struggled with ball placement last season, which was part of the reason for his early-season struggles.
